Ok, so now, there's gonna be three empires. TR, NC, an VS. Now what if, in the long run, one take sover all of the other's bases? Like NC takes all of TR's bases, is there protection against that? or will you just have to make a new character for a different empire?

Anyways, where's all my fellow Vanu Sovereignty comrads?! All I see is TR and NC people in the forums. >/

I believe the side that is being thrashed gets bonuses, like increased fire rate, damage etc.. that kind of thing, I'm not totally sure I like it though. I'd prefer the losing side to come up with solid tactics, and prove they're good enough to fight their way back.

I agree, the losing side should and very likely WILL have to come up with some solid tactics. Sure they get bonus' - so it doesn't get stale for the losers. But the bonus' aren't going to be all that great from what I hear.

In answer to the question, there is never going to be a faction totally wiped out base-wise. They always have sanctuaries which are non-pvp

It's like 45% NC, 35% TR, and 20% VS here. At the official forums however, it's 5% TR, 2% NC, 3% Vanu, and 90% lamer that found some forums to post on, but aren't sure what the heck anyone is talking about there.

We Vanu are lurking about, look behind the couch, we are usally there. But yea its mostly NC and TR here, and like mist said the sanctuarys are currently secure, no one can take them or even fire weapons on them, this may change after beta but for now its solid.

They will do things like decrease max health for the empire which has the biggest advantage.

Also remember that as any empire claims more and more, they spread their defences thinner, and wit the loss of land/position. It tightens the enemy defence. So if VS were to take 3 full islands from TR, the TR may not have the land anymore, but they have less to defend and can make an attack without much worry, where as the VS now has to hold all three of these continents. Even if the gates lock with a continetal lock you could go through another island. I think there will be a lot of yo-yo-ing here. Just like the relics in DAoC, if you get em all, your gonna lose them soon.

Hamma is all over this question. Population imbalances will gear bonuses to the winning team. With minor imbalances that are worth giving aid to, the losing empire gains more BEP off of kills then the winning Empire. Then if the population imbalance becomes severe, HPs are tweaked in favor of the losing empire.

I agree there are more NC with TR in close by an VS... I think they were so weak we already took over 'em. There is now way that the NC will take the TR cuz the TR is the best TR forever. But there is still the chance that two empires join to fight against one.

How come no one is pointing out the simple mathematics. I'm guessing you guys think NC has the most because they have the most outfits. Hell, they have more outfits than Rupaul. Problem is, NC could have 40 outfits with 10 each, and TR could have 4 with a 100 each, and it would all even out. So unless you want to go into the outfit database and count out every single member.......

Actually I believe we are playing differant factions on diff servers, and I can not say for sure if we will kick more ass then <other outfit here>, but I think we will.
