Paintball is easily the coolest alternative sport their is. It's also the fastest growing in the world.
I play every weekend (even in the winter when I can find some non sissies to go out in the snow).
I've got a JTUSA proteus mask, Evolution II hopper, 99 Autococker that is TOTALLY pimped out.
Paintball rocks, hard.

My friend shot his little brother (who is actually bigger than him) in the back of the head with his airsoft gun from like 20ft away. His little brother kicked him in the balls at Wendy's causing him to pass out so he wanted revenge apparently lol.

Should've found a good vantage point. Camp there and when the brother came into view unloaded a whole clip into his balls, then when he fell to the ground go up with a pipe and hit him a few times with it.....

wow, guess the stuff hurts
you don;t wear any padding or anything like in paintball?
ABRAXAAS
2003-02-24, 09:09 PM
No, padding takes away the realizm ,you kinda want it to hurt cause then you know youve been hit and it makes you try harder to not get hit . Airsoft is more Hardcore the Paintball ,plus in canada its almost illegal ,wich makes it extra hardcore:D

I though it was the sissies that play in the winter and not the summer. (they get to wear more clothing layers in the winter and thus the welts are smaller)

That is true, however, when the windchill is -20, no one really wants to go outside.

With compressed gas ,as the temp gets colder you loose power ,how are you able to play in the cold anyways ? cause I know with my airsoft ,if im using a gbb and its cold its usless ?

My friends and I played over the last weekend. We had gotten some fresh snow outside and it was a bit cold, but we could dig a little hole and cover up in the snow. That made for some fun sniping. :) Yeah it does end up hurting less because of the padding. Oh well it was still fun. :)

My autococker has a compression chamber on it, where I can set the power do what I want, so I'm cool in the snow. Some of my friends shoot with Nitrogen. Nitro rocks hard. I just don't feel like paying for it.

Paintball suddenly becomes a game of getting shot with rocks. :) You want to talk about incentive not to get hit, go play paintball when it's 3 degrees outside.http://smilies.jeeptalk.org/contrib/guus/kerstsmiley.gif
