Oh man. I just finished watching the last 10 episodes of the final season of SG-1 (I got them off Bittorent since they already aired in the UK), and I was actually crying at the end because I knew there would be no more. It's always hard to let go of a show you've watched for years and gotten attached to the characters.

It won't be the same with Stargate Atlantis. Why the hell would they continue Atlantis and not SG-1? Atlantis is complete garbage (but will have to suffice, I supposed). There was an announcement that there would be a new Stargate series, but I just know it won't be the same. There's also going to be two movies to tie up the SG-1 series' Ori story arc, but it won't be enough.

It's sad. Just another great Sci-Fi cancelled to make room for more garbage (Dresden Files anyone?) just like Firefly. Anyone else a Stargate fan? I know, I'm a nerd.

I really loved that show. I love the movie even more. I kind of stopped watching it around season 5 because it got a little wierd but that was just me. Dresden files is stupid. Firefly wasn't that bad.

Yeah, it's sad to see the series go. Always was and will be one of my favourites. I think I like Atlantis just as much now though, the characters are pretty likeable (mostly Rodney and Sheppard). I always felt a special connection to Stargate because it is filmed in my city, so I always recognize landmarks when watching the show, on top of that, I know so many people who are involved in the shows production, either as extras, cast or crew.

Stargate was nothing without Anderson.

He made the show. The last few seasons were pretty miserable.

In other sci-fi news... Season 4 of BSG is gonna kick ass.

It was funny. I was watching one of those last ten episodes and RDA was on for one of them, and his voice sounded SOOOO strange (after not hearing it for a while.) It sounded really high-pitched and whiny. But yeah, SG-1 took a dip in quality for a while, but recently it's gotten a LOT better, and the last 10 episodes are definitely worth a watch.

I've watching stargate for 10 years...

I will miss it dearly. But, on to BSG!!!
