Me vs. Matthew (same weight as me, a bit taller)

I won with a knockout in the first round after two minutes. The match itself was pretty intense no running around the ring trying to find the other guy. He got a couple of good hits in and I'm not ashamed to say it. In fact my right arm is sore as hell, my right hand knuckles are bruised and I have some muscle pain but other then that, it's all good.

What finished him off was a hard kick to the head... might have been a lucky hit thought but he still went down and that's good I suppose

My instructor basicly wanted to test my abilities to make my program better. So my next fight isn't before a while but still... pretty damn fun for my first KB combat. Guess the boxing and the Fang Shen do helped a bit otherwise I would of been fucked... only been in KB for... 3 weeks I think...

Anyways! Great way to get rid of sexual frustration or just plain frustration.

On the subject of fighting sports, I've always wanted to try Fencing. Seems like it'd be fun.

On an unrelated note:

Yesterday, I was walking to my neighbors house, and 3 thugs came out of the bushes. They were all like

"YO, WHO YOU WIT?"

And I was like "Yo homie, I don't bang"

And the one guy is all:

"RAISE UP FOOL" and he pulls a .50 Desert Eagle from his waistband.

I was all like "FUCK YOU CUZ, DIS MY NEIGHBORHOOD"

I didn't hesitate, and retrieved my nunchuks and took a fighting stance. They all three advanced, and with one mighty swing of my weapon, I struck all 3 thugs simulatenously, and their faces imploded upon impact. The police chief rolled up, and was all like, "DOOD" and I was just like

Then I got a medal of bravery from the city, they named a day after me, and now I teach underwater demolitions to US navy seals.

True story.

*Sigh*

You'll have pictures once I do matches frequently. I can't very well take pictures of me when I'm fighting a private match in my dojo. It's not like it's a public event.

Also, starting brazilian Jiu-jitsu in a week or so! WOO!

You too? It was 8 armed thugs for me and they had 9mms and Mac10s. We should meet up sometime and trade bowstaff skills and techniques.

Hard to find a good school. Most of them don't teach fencing. They teach what amounts to stage combat and call it fencing.

Indeed depends on the region...

I found a good medieval combat school around here... and I think they teach fencing as well... it's probably due to the obsession for everything medieval in my region.

Damn, where do you live? The closest thing to a school for sword combat around here is a local drama troupe that teaches stage fighting. I may have to move :p

Near the ottawa region. Quebec is even worse... every year there's like 4000 people that gather on a huge ass field to recreate medieval fights. (Not historical but still)
