Aftershock?

I am planning to buy Planetside Aftershock (the physical CD), but I want to know something before I buy it. Does Aftershock include both the original Planetside, as well as Core Combat? So I would be only paying $20 for the game, and that's it? Or do I need to already have the original Planetside, and then buy Aftershock, as if it were an expansion?
