Daily Rotation is another great source for tech news. The more times a link is clicked on the higher it is placed on the front page.

I love this site. I get tons of information from them. It's all about computers. Lots of helpful people in the forums to help you out, also has a thread about freeware AV/Firewalls/basically anything that's free it's got it.

Word of caution though; if you thought our Political threads were bad, you do not want to venture into anandtech's political forum. Tis a silly place.
