This game looks like it will deliver for anyone who was a fan of Homeworld 1 and 2. The structure of the game looks relatively like homeworld, even though its not by the same companies. Anyway, its a long way off :( I cant wait though. The world needs more space RTS's

The world needs more space combat sims. Hasn't been a good one since Freespace II. The world does NOT need more space RTS's.

Have you tried EVE at all sent?

I don't know if that kind of combat is what your looking for but I think it does a good job.

Too long of a learning curve for my interests Rob. I just want to get in, frag some bad guys, and leave.

Gametap has the classic Wing Commander up now. Been playing that off and on.
