I thought this was very cool. One thing I do try to follow is not doing the same workout for too long. As far as everything they do, especially those pushups using the loops on ropes (I don't remember what olympic event it was), I'm just no where near there level of training.

That's quite the training. As some of you know I'm currently training for MMA... so my training is rough but not as rough as that... anyways not just yet. Until I can afford to live by my fighting alone/my soon to be school, I won't be able to train like that either. Even then it won't be the same.

Most I know honestly thought that every single Spartan having a six pack of abbs was fake, 100% photoshop. Hard for them to believe people still work out.

They are quite mental for six packs though. :)

Nuts? No. THIS IS SPARTA!
Sorry, had to be done. Any 300 thread has to include those three words no matter what the subject matter is.

Actually, I could have sworn that none of the warriors had a six pack. It looked more like an 8 pack.

Dunno if the video explains it, but they worked out at GymJones, which is an invitation-only gym. The place is built on the principle of no pain, no gain. All of their workouts are similar to the 300 one in intensity. The building doesn't have any air conditioning or windows.
Basically, those people are nuts. :p

That is intense, but won't overworking yourself do damages to your body?

Not if you do it properly... see... overworking a certain part of your body doesn't let your muscle fibers recuperate... in wich turn it doesn't allow it to grow. Use different parts of your body all the time and you'll be fine.
