PS Crash issue

ok here's the deal

i reinstalled planetside after nearly 2 years of not touching it, right now im on the 30 day trial thingy...

but whenever i play the game, i get like 5-10 minutes of gameplay before the game crashes for no reason...

i have a radeon 6600, with newly updated drivers, as well as updated drivers for all the rest of my computer...

today when i asked people in the game, they gave me several solutions:
1. i should reinstall the game (did that, didnt work)
2. i should install older drivers for my graphics card, because the game doesnt support the new ones for my graphics card.
3. there's an INI file in which i need to change some sort of line/ parameter.

if any1 knows where i can get a link in the forum containing answers to solutions 2/3 i would be more than grateful...

maybe you could exit all your background process that are unneeded. they should be the ones with your username on them. exit out of all them except for explorer.exe. maybe that helps
