Player database?

How is the planetside player database? is it low or is there a steady amount of people online for playing with?

Oh and another question, do the servers still lag a lot or has SOE fixed that problem from relaease?

hmm i know people still play this game... anyone have any input it would be greatly appretiated..

No lag I have encountered. The player base isn't as high as it was, but I still have a good battle every day.
