As I continue the story, I will be occasionally including different personalities in the storyline. If you wish to be a part of the story, please post here and include some info about your in-game character and his/her personality, weapon choice, etc.

One thing to remember. For those unfamiliar with my writing style, I do write the story as close to reality as possible within the bounds of the world the story is based on. Meaning this: People die in war, and thus, they will die in my story. heh :D

I�m Tobias, a Vanu sniper who goes lone wolf or in a small sniper group, flies a skeeter, weapons are a knife, bolt driver (40 ammo), suppresser (2 clips), and a beamer (200 shots with beamer or unlimited not sure its a Vanu energy weapon) I would not engage anything but another skeeter in air combat, and not attack anything but bikes or buggies or single soldiers on the ground, if they have AA I run. I let down in a forest not far from enemy bases and sneak towards them and begin picking people off, if I think they are gathering a force of more then 4-5 to get me I flee, I also don�t attack MAX suits unless I would die if I did not, cause its foolish. I would flee from large groups to my ship, coving myself at a range with the driver (standing shots, not to kill but to slow, kill if I can though) and the suppresser if they get close, laying down a wave of fire, the beamer is last resort or AP mode against Max�s that I cant get away from. My character has jet black hair, thin build with few muscles, is fast on his feet and about 5' 6'' Is Vanu. No facial hair, green eyes.

Pffft... I'll be in your story. I guess my zaney personality would most likely fall under a leadership role under a greater commander. A captain or the like. Maybe slightly abnormal in my approach but a brilliant tactician. While I fight for the Terran Empire, I tend to disagree with their doctrine of "We are supreme! Bow down knaves!" but the thought of defecting has never crossed my mind. I only have the utmost loyalty to my commaders, comrades, and the Terran Empire.

Best case scenerio I guess... You'll probably make me a wino if you even let me into this beautiful story of yours. :p

Sadfre: Vanu Combat Medic(or Med-at-Arms as i prefer).

a rowdy guy with a quick wit, he likes to be where the action is, healing people when they really need it, instead of just waiting for people to come to him. he mostly uses a Suppressor for his combat needs, as he likes the rapid fire rate and ability to give covering fire. he'll also carry around a secondary weapon like the Lasher or even a Decimator for the more desperate situations. He's of average height and build and prefers the light reinforced armors, so that he's not slowed down or losses any agility. those two things being pretty important to him, since it helps him stay alive;)

Lexington Steele (Vanu)- Hotshot pilot. Can pilot anything but prefers the Mosquito (prefers light and nimble craft). Also can hack and vehicle jack.

Uses the supressor as primary weapon. Has a beamer side arm, and a lancer as a secondary weapon. Wears agile exosuit.

Implants- surge, advanced targeting, range magnifier.

Prefers use of agility, speed and stealth as apposed to brute force. Intelligent. Likes to argue. Writes music in his free time.

Qanamil Rafiki, Sniper for the Terran Republic.

Fresh out of the academy, he was brought in after the closing of the worm hole and the ensuing conflict. Your average soldier at first, he can't wait to see action, but deep down, he doesn't know how he will handle killing someone.

Using his trusty bolt driver, a pistol sidearm, and driving a basilisk to get where he needs to be, he focuses on the job at hand, following his orders to a T, but if he feels that they are bad or misinformed directions, he'll change them, permission or no.

Acts like a hotshot in front of other troops, but inside he's troubled. He can't put aside the images of the people he has seen killed, friends and foes alike. He doesn't know if he can' handle it for much longer... he just might snap if this all continues.l

I'm a lonley grunt in the NC army that desperatley wants to be reunited with his brothers (Talon and Arkainus) which are in the far corners of the planet fighting the VS and TR. In the height of the war news comes to him that his mother has fallen ill and that one of his brothers my be KIA and the other captive by VS. He makes a personal vendetta to find his captured brother and confirm wther or not the other is dead.
He is a typical run of the mill soldier. He goes the extra mile to get his job done and destroys any enemy that gets in his way with extreme prejudice as if each one killed his brother. (somehow... i don't know how) he gets reassigned to a tank brigade. After years he does free his brother and discovers that the other one was alive.... they are assigned to a vangaurd tank were they become a renowed tank crew.......

xuur was what you would call 'your basic soldier' in most respects.
he was far and away something else in others.

his rifle was his best friend, his only friend. he not so much held it as he did become a part of it. he had carried it in more campaigns than he could ever remember, or ever want to. it showed. the rifle he carried would have surely been scrapped years ago if he was known to have still been using it. but surrendering his rifle would be akin to giving his heart or an arm, or his very life.

he rarely spoke. when he did it was usually to give an order or bark a warning. and too, he never called anyone by name...always by rank. at least that way, when one was lost it was less noticable to him.

his face was beaten and scarred from endless battles without number. the thousand yard stare burned like hot embers in his eyes.
cold and seemingly lifeless black eyes that were keen and oft times showed no sign of humanity. his multitude of implants, replaced and replaced again rendered him nearly more machine than man. in battle he killed without anger, without mercy, without regret and without hesitation.

many of his previous squads had laughed about his choice of weapons. a simple assault rifle, a few grenades and his knife.
he didnt care. they all wanted trophys...hard hitting, technological weapons of the modern age. he was unimpressed.
they were all dead a hundred times over now and their weapons and sun bleached bones lay in their own blood and the dusty remains of some long forgotten battlefield....along with untold number of enemy...yet still he prevailed.

Role: Special operations team leader (not a terror squad, as you might guess when the TR is involved, but a long term recon and raid team, making lightning quick strikes against key infrastructure targes such as bridges and comms centers, as well as trailing and tracking enemy movements. they also attack the enemy. think of these guys as small, elite, veteran. attack in the night, stealthy when needed, and yet furious and professional when in combat. other tasks of theirs may include assasination, and/or rescue ops.)

Description: Doobz, is a professional, having seen many a conflict. He despises being called a soldier, for he believes it lowers him to the brutality and and unwittingess of the other so-called soldiers. To him, when a man in the armed forces calls himself a soldier, they hold it too far above a normal profession. And that is exactly what he considers his role, a profession, and nothing more. Yet, he does his job out of compassion and professionalism, knowing that the better he is and the better he leads directs his team, the faster the war will be over, and the suffering that war brings will be brief. Yet he does not allow his compassion to invade into the professionalism, able to kill enemies without a second thought and without remorse. He leads a small 5 man team of the elite and extremely secret Black Glass unit(known amongst themselves as the Untouchables). He and his team are outcasts, not caring what happens for the TR nor showing the loyalty and commitment to the TR ideals as the conventional TR might. He and his team have a general disregard for authority, yet completely dedicated to each other and determined to complete their mission, for the battlefield is there place, slipping through the holes to live among the enemy, and watch them or strike using unorthodox tactics. Their disregard of authority is readily apparent in the manner they conduct themselves in a mission. They operate as a single body, having known and worked together long enough that they have developed an almost supernatural sense of communality. While Doobz is the technical leader, they treat each other as equals, Doobz' main role being an overwatcher and general director of ops. not loved by their superiors or peers, but tolerated because of their abilities and capabilities. He has a calm and cool demeanor, doing his job without question, tending not to put the ethics of the purpose or cause of the war, completely focused on the mission. He is not completely cold however, as he would give his life for his men. He has a simple code of ethics as well, which he imposes on his missions: innocents are innocents, and not to be harmed unless threatening the lives of he or his men.

SandTrout: Anarchistic personality, hates haveing to deal with what the leaders of the Republic think he should do. Prefers to shoot an enemy in the back when the oppertunity presents itself. Has his own personal code of honor that primaraly has to do with hatred of hipocricy and blatent lies. He also values independence highly, but not to the point of refuseing help when he is looking at very poor odds. However, he has a hard time trusting anyone who offers something for nothing unless he has known them for a long time.

Quiet NC supporter until the wormhole collapse when he tries to free his small community from Terran millitary control. He sees the Vanu as a new regiem that would be worse than the terrans, and doesn't trust any of their supporters.

Favors a Reinforced Exo-skeleton, Jackhamer, Gauss, and Thumper. Dispises Stealth suits for their inability to engauge enemies at range, and the MAX for its lack of menuverability.

In game name will be Navarone, part of the BOHICA clan. We use strict brutal swat tactics, and will enter almost every fray with a HALO jump. Prefer using weapons from the last victim. It slows down the guy I'm about to kill while he wonders were I got the heat. We're tight knit, and usually don't go down, we also NEVER run. We're pretty tough to get into, but if you make it, you won't die. We can't seem to get a good sniper though (HAHAHA ---> CHRIS)

RandoM-TerroR: your above average tactical terran commander, launching raids against the rebel NC's. He is an experiend tactician, having lived his entire life in the terran army, before being sent in as part of a group to guard the scientists that where investigating the Auraxis planet.
He was stationed in the north, under the treasoning terran commander, who gave up the northlands to the NC. Loosing most of his unit, he fougth his way back to Terran territory, where he was put in charge of a platoon, named "Wolf Claw". Using cunning tactics (such as ANT drops from galaxys to blow stuff up), he succesfully takes over a number of enemy bases, with his platoon of terran fanatics.

But all along doubt grows in his heart. Is what he has spent his entire life protecting really rigth? Can he justify his actions against the rebels, and claim to be doing the rigth thing? He couldn't totally agree with the Terran properganda machine, and his heart was longing to break away from the Terran republic, and join forces with the VANU. He had never really agreed with the terran view on things, but only recently had his eyes been opend for a new view on life. The vanu had the answers to all the questions he had been asking himself.
But how was he to just walk away from what he had spent an entire life building up? How could he desert his comrades who had fougth with him for so long? He had already asked his wife, but she was a dougther of a Terran Senetor, so she wouldnt go with him. Could he bare to be seperated from his family, just to figth for what he truely belived in?

His mind was still in doubt, but his heart made the decision for him. One nigth he simply slipped out of the door, carrying only the most necesary things, for him to survive. His suppressor, and his sidearm. A bag with some clothes, and some food...
