Hi Everybody,
I'm a fairly veteran PS player (3 years+), but haven't played for the last year or so.
When i tried to play yesterday (after renewing my subscription), the game came up, worked ok for about 15 minuets and the the graphics would stuck (the game kept going until i died i guess).
Updating Video Driver didn't help.
i consulted with someone from my previous outfit who said it happened to him also and reinstalling the game solved it.
OK, i uninstalled the game completely, downloaded the installer (from Direct2Drive, digitally purchased the game in the past) but now i have a new problem -
The patcher never finishes the process.
It scans the files, starts downloading but it get stuck, every timr on a different file (it keeps running but the timer behaves abnormally - counts down 10 seconds and back up to the start, again and again and again, until i shut the launchpad down).
Restarting the computer only changes the file that it stays on.
tried uninstalling again, clearing temp and registry and the re-installing - happens again.
Update:
after about a dozen tries, it managed to pass most of the problematic delays but i got an error message "bad file. pls resownload" and the download was cancelled :-(.
Anyone encountered anything alike before?
Thx,
Uri
