View Full Version : What did it for me.

I played PS for 4+ years straight. There is no comparison to Planetside in my view. PS is the only FPSMMOG. Period.

I never whined about any of the changes. BFR's - hate them. I didn't leave then, they were just another target to me.

Same thing with Black Ops. I didn't necessarily like them, but it didn't drive me to quit.

Server merge? Meh, just something that needed to happen.

Here is my particular problem: As a long time advocate (again 4+ years) of Planetside, I do not even have the option of becoming a Black Op. I overstepped some boundaries on the forums, and got perma banned. I believe in second chances, but I'm sure I deserved it.

So, outside of having someone post for me on the OF, my only option is to contact a GM in game. (Yes I did try to go through customer service). Two days ago Brewko came online giving birthday shoutouts to a couple of 12 year olds. Nothing wrong with that in itself.

So I proceed to try to contact Brewko. In a very nice, polite, and professional way mind you. I was a little pissed, and telling a squad mate that he was too busy giving shoutouts to people that have sucked up to him than to mind me.

I was having a very fun day all day in PS at this time. I was bombing for a new pilot in a lib. He was good. So after I send Brewko a couple of tells...mid flight...my game gets cut to desktop. Never in the history of my PS career has that happen. No error log or anything.

My thought is that he saw my chat log and got pissed, and booted me. I've heard plenty of stories about how Brewko can be a dick like that. He himself has caused alot of people to leave before he was Brewko.

I strongly believe that he cut my game off. He does have that power. I did get back in game and tried to message him again to no avail.

I would have been fine if he just said "you abused your privlidges (sp) no black ops for you". But he decided to cut my game off.

It's great to give BD shoutouts to kids. But I am the one paying, and have paid for this game for 4+ years. So I'm a little pissed.

Am I taking this too far? I wanna hear some thoughts.

I would think that if you really had pissed him off, you wouldn't be able to get back in-game. I say try an /appeal in-game with your request.

If you tried Customer Service, what happened when you contacted them?

SOE doesn't have Customer Service.

Sounds like normal paranoia to me
