I figure since no one has posted in a couple of days, I'll throw up a thread about Indiana Jones and see if anyone has seen it yet, because I want to sooner or later.

Don't bother. Unless you're a die hard fan that get's a hard on just seeing a whip and Harrison ford in the same shot... because... quite frankly it blows.

I heard it was alright, but I'm pretty skeptical about it.

Chances are I'll see it next weekend though.

It was definitely Indiana Jones, meaning it has some of the old gritty adventure kick to it the old films did, but it definitely feels like it's lacking something. I dunno what it is, but there's a key ingredient missing.

Worth seeing if you were a fan of the old movies and aren't afraid of being a little bit disappointed that it doesn't meet all of the expectations of the original.

I won't say that it's Star Wars: Episode 1 sorta new sequel bad, but it does sorta feel like Episode 2.

The only movie even remotely attractive to me this year is "The Dark knight"...

I can think of quite a few movies that could end up quite good this year.
Have you seen the trailers for Pineapple Express, Tropic Thunder, or Righteous Kill?
They all have great potential.

I gotta say, I'm only interested in a few movies coming out this summer.

Wall-E, Wanted, and The Happening

Wall-E, Wanted, and The Happening

The Happening did catch my eye until I saw that it was an M. Night Shyamalan film. he hypes up all his films and all but one has failed for me. I admit the 6th sense was great but nothing after that. Maybe this will be the one to redeem himself to me but I don't know. I might just wait till dvd for it.

Wall-E looks good, Wanted looks pretty good, Pineapple Express looks funny, so does Tropic Thunder.

As far as what's out right now, I want to see You Don't Mess with the Zohan, and maybe the Strangers. Looks like a good thriller. Also Quid Pro Quo looks like the usual disturbing films I enjoy.

In order to watch Indy, you must have your eyes pretty wide open to accept the movie. But being a huge fan of the series, and the fact I actually liked the Hulk more so than Indy.....it is a movie that will be forgotten.

I got Wall-E up next, following Dark Night and Hancock (<3 Will Smith).
