New Pretty Fun Online FPS

Nexon (ppl who made that silly maplestory game) launched Combat Arms using their existing business model (Free to Play, Pay for Fluff Stuff).

Has a level like 'rank' system, but it doesnt really have too many limits on what you can get.

I'm Chainfall in the game and I'm still a Sergeant (http://combatarms.nexon.net/Fieldguide/Rank.aspx), but I'm like 60% of the way to ranking up.

Clans are actually a supported ingame mechanic, and there is a server reserved for Clan fighting.

I haven't really noticed any lag, but sometimes I seem to die too easily lol.

Anyway, if you decide to try it out, let me know and we can hook up for some pwnage.

Given that it's free, I would give it a try, but I only have 1.5gigs left on my hard drive. I know it isn't a lot. That's what you get when you haven't gotten a new computer in 7+ years.

It only takes like 455mb. But the install is about 1.25gb total.

Oh, I forgot to mention it has an in game messenger as well. So you can find friends easily if they are online.

If anyone is interested, I started a Clan in the game. Eidolon Company. Had to make Staff Sergeant to be able to create it.

Well I'm done with that. Can't even get one play session in without somebody hacking or exploiting. Counting the minutes till DFO...
