Does anyone have any ideas about how many kills/base caps/other things u get cert point for u have 2 do b4 u get a complete cert point?

You get some cert points at the start of the game, more as you achieve each battle rank. You gain battle rank by aquiring BEP's (Battle Experience Points) by doing new things and fighting in battles.

Like in an RPG you gain lvls from experiance points. When youu gain a lvl you get one cert point. Think Diablo II.

probably alot i can see
50-lvl1
100-lvl2
300-lvl3
500-lvl4 and up the line

Ummm I don't know, no one really does except people who have played it. but you get something like 400 bep for killing someone and 100 for doing things and I wouldn't be able to guess accurately.

subliminal i dont think it would be that little of BEPs wouldnt be like 100 for lvl 2...i remember seeing in a screenshot that a guy visited a base for the first time and got 100 BEP and then spawned a vehicle and got 100 BEP and got in and it was like 50 i dunno i forget...im too lazy to look thru all the screenies for that specific one. so im guiessing its more like 1000 or 2000 to get to lvl 2 and then of course increasing more and more as you lvl

I sure as hell hope not. Constantly raising the bar like they did in EQ is, in my opinion, just a crappy retention scheme.

oh... ok. Wouldn't it seem a bit boring if you were forever at level 20? And after while of making new stuff, they might want to give us a few more certs so we can advance a bit and use them. Of cours, I am ignoring the fact you can switch certs.

but uberl33tz will want more levels, and if the avg. player gets to 20 in 4 months then that's gonna be too fast.

No. Raising the level just takes away the fundamental of this game in being specialized. Personally I think if more stuff is added, it will just be items farther down in the progression of items in the game already. Why do you really need 21 cert points? Lets say you got 4 4 point certs, 1 3 point, and 1 2 point. That is still 6 certs, and that is above the average cost of certs. Personally BR20 is plenty, even with more content added.

And if you are bored at 20, you should be just as bored as when you are gaining BEPs, since you are doing the SAME thing.

I still stick by you should be more interested with a 20 character then leveling, since you do the same thing in both instances, but at 20 you have more toys to play with... just a thought there.

I personaly plan to have one guy that I play most of the time, and have a galaxy pilot and a MAX char to toy with. If I reach level 20 I will be more powerful, but its not the point of the game to reach level 20, the point is to have fun, which you can do at any level.

I am not for raising the max lvl. That is kinda stupid, it should take the best players a long time to get an account full of lvl 20:5 chars.
