Well well well.. it appears we may finally have a plausible replacement of PlanetSide.. its taken so long.. but this does indeed show some promise..

Looks fun, I'd play it. Only, I was disappointed about the lack of vehicles till I saw 1 Mech there at the end... which intrigued me until I had a flashback to BFR-Side :(

As long as they manage to balance it properly it looks like it'll be fun. But it's hard to promise all the stuff they promised in that video and still have a balanced game.

As long as they remember to keep weaknesses to balance the strengths, I think it would work out well.

Lame game is lame. It's all instanced-based combat, with a vague discussion about possibly opening up a "sixty versus sixty open-world instance". That "BFR" you saw wasn't a vehicle, it's a robot that kicks the crap out of you. I haven't heard any plans to make it a pilotable vehicle. One of my BWC members is a playtester who lives near there, and another of my friends is on their development team. It's more like "space-age Delta Force Land Warrior". Their armour doesn't even have any stats (purely cosmetic), at least the last time I played it.

60 vs 60 i think is a decent number, I mean it aint Planetside's zerg fest....but suppose it'll bring down the lag.



The game sort of reminded me of Tribes2 actually....with the jetpacks...



From what it claims, I think it's a step in the right direction.

I've been playtesting it.... all you need to know is meh.

is it a PS sub? no.
is it a decent game where you play 10 on 10 in a small map? yes.
its not great, its not horrible. its just meh.

I played it for a short time in alpha and I got the same feeling sadly :\
