Well not really a dream but a rather kick ass idea if i say so myself. I think after the game has been open for 3weeks to a month we should hold a frag contest. Since your accoutn keeps track of your kills we should see who by the end of a time limit in our community has the most kills. We can also run a side contest with the most deaths. This would be a fun way to cause inter-community playing errr or something like that.

Meh, kills aren't always going to be important. No real point...

This isn't counterstrike... it isn't about kills.
Bad idea.

Also some of us have a Life and that will get in the way of us having a chance of winning.

 yeah, it'd be the 1337 people who do nothing but play FPS's all day and rack up kills. If they want to have their own little competition, they can. As for the rest of us, we'll just have fun strategically taking over bases and conquering continents.

The players in JumpGate hold their own events alot. You could just say something like, "On Saturday between 8am-8pm, we will see who can get the most kills," or something. But in JumpGate, we also have money, so the winner gets something. I guess we could have it, the winners gets "x amount of weapons from another faction" or something.

No again, you can't say,
this isn't counter-strike
Even in CS I would finish the objective before I worry about my score. Kills mean nothing. Haven't you ever played Metal Gear Solid 2, I beat it without killing a single person.

It's true there is objectives, but "skill" was based on kills, not objectives. But the point is this is WAY less based on kills, since people can be medics, hackers, support, etc.

I don't know, it takes a lot of skill to complete the mission in CS, I once defused the bomb right under 6 terrorists noses, I just camped in the back of the bombsite and didn't attack anyone and then I commandoed to the bomb and defused it. It was ub3r. but you are right, there will be less skill in PS, but possibly more thinking.
