It's been 6+ years since PSU first got started as a little old fansite. Over the years it developed into the premier Planetside website, complete with exclusives from the developers, AGN webcast interviews and news shows, and a #1 game community complete with Orlando meetup.

Now that PS2 is getting some hype and many of you are using the "Forgotten password" feature to dust off your old accounts, I'm wondering... what is everyone up to, these days? A lot can change in the years you've been gone from a community. How about everyone post a little update... tell us what you were doing back when PSU was huge and then what you're up to these days. These updates can be real life news or just what games you're into these days.

How YOU doin?

I was doing basically nothing. Now I'm trying to get a bachelors in computer science. Though I don't know if I shouldn't go more for hardware. I wish there were a degree that covered it all and was concentrated. Maybe I'll duel degree at some point.

I should say I will be working on a bachelors in CS if they accept me into a particular college. If not it's back to the associates.

I work for a lingerie company now. I do Parkour, which gets me side jobs doing stunt work in international commercials.

I go to many fashion shows, with hot models, and old, perverted men.

I transitioned to the civilian life. I now work for EA. When I'm not working on video game design, I'm playing in a band.

Retired from the military, finished my BS, working on my Masters and on staff at a church.

Still with the CDL, of course, and playing a little Company of Heroes, CoD:4, TF2, etc...

I was a kid in middle school back then. Now I am a slightly older, bearded kid in college. ...And Ive picked up my dad's habit of buying beat old cars. (Started driving in January and now I've got 3 cars...2 run...ish)

Well,

Let's see... It's been 9 months with my girlfriend now, having a great time with her. Finally got a new car, Lancer Ralliart '09...

Been getting back into shape ever since I've come out of school.... speaking of which I have finished my carpentry program.... but I care little for the actual job, so I'm going back to school. Algonquin college to be more precise. I'm going into Police foundations to get a job in the local police departement.

It's a 2 yr program... so I'll be 26 by the time I graduate. Can't wait really.

I'm building my firsthand economic experience portfolio for my political career. The 'I've been there and I know its hard. I'm not your bread and butter silver spoon candidate.' angle.

Seriously.

Wow, a lot has changed since the days I spent frequenting this forum as a snot nose punk.

I graduated HS and started a job as an apprentice at a pool service company. In the past 2 years, I've since started my own business which I own and operate independently. I service, repair, and install swimming pools and equipment in the San Diego area. To date, I have over 100+ commercial and residential accounts.

I don't really do computer games anymore, unfortunately. I don't really have the time for it. When I do have time, I like to log on to Fulltilt and play some NL Hold-Em.

My life revolves around one thing though, motorcycles. My pride and joy is a 2007 Ninja 650R which I modded to oblivion, and have since sold after 30,000 miles in a year. I am saving for a brand new CBR600RR which I plan to turn into a strictly track bike, with the ultimate goal of club racing at the novice level with WSMC.

I almost posted "I wonder what Squeeky is up to".

Funny shit.

I have no idea if you're still banned, the forums have gone down more than Sparky's mom in the past couple of years.

If I recall correctly, it was like a 36 year ban.

Good to hear from you, Squeeky.

Besides my career in Lingerie, I do a shit ton of side work for Kiva (www.kiva.org ). Basically, it's an international micro-lending website. Non-profit, the whole deal. I don't work for them, but I help spread awareness, in New York, through lots of social events (Happy hours, wine tasting's, etc.). We are essentially the Kiva New York team. this is our website: www.kivanewyork.com . I have a lot of fun with this because I enjoy doing volunteer type work.

Kyonye, what is it technically that you do? What did you have to go to school to do this?

Well, if you would like to get into fashion, your best bet is to go to a Fashion Institute...

Or you can do what I did. Go on vacation, to a different country. meet an American. Befriend American. Come back to the states, and have American hire you to manage all east coast accounts, and east coast showroom.

It's not like I work with models. I wish I did. I've been trying to get them to allow me to manage just one photoshoot.

Ah, I was just wonderin'. Im going to school for International Trade, just sounded like that could be one way into it, especially if you arent really working with models. What youre doing sounds like it could be some sort of trade job. Still, thats still a pretty sweet job to have.

To this day, that video remains my most stellar accomplishment.

36 years. I don't remember what prompted a ban of that magnitude, but it must have been good.
