windows picks up all hate messages towards it typed from your computer and operates 5% worse each time it detects a new one:D

nothing is better than Unix

Well thats the answer at least, OSX is better.

 I used OSX (unix based) and I had more problems with that than I did with a windows-me system I ran with 23 viruses on it :p
*arent school systems great, you find the oddest stuff being the district tech for 2 years

Im sure OSX/With unix is better than version 1.0 that I used, but when I used it, it had too many bugs to be of any value.

The way I see computers:

Windows = evil.... Tries to hurt you. Does not run anywhere near as well as unix, but runs games...

Macs= cant run games.... and do not run anywhere near as well as unix, so they are bad... at least it does not try to kill its users

Unix (real unix, not osx, not linux (unix light), etc) = Runs and runs and runs. Unlike dos and the base integrated mac platform, it is not suicidal, it does not crash, and runs infinitely more efficiently than Windows or Mac. But does not play games.....

I like XP...once I screwed around with it to make it stop eating so much RAM it ran pretty well. I've had my PC for about...I guess 6 or 7 months now, and it hasn't crashed once.

Yea I haven't had any problems with XP at all.... I crash VERY rarely. I haven't crashed on my new computer yet, but on my old computer with XP when I crashed, whcih was also rarely, if I was typing something it would save on its own and become a "recovered" document when I started the comp up again. Not sure about other applications where saving is involved because I never crashed in them. Don't Know whether these situations are part of the source of problems, due to my fairly limited knowledge of computers, I'm just making a guess due to observation =).

I think that one of the main reasons that I don't run into any problems with XP is that I don't try to overclock my system, I got a premade system, and I always keep extra room on my HD. In other words I don't mess with my computer =\. Also I clean up my computer once in a while deleting anything that I don't need. I think that this cleaning up process is the most important. If you haven't cleaned up in a long time sometimes it's just best to reformat.
