New RTS

I'm looking for a new Online RTS to play while waiting for PS. But want to know what you all think is the best one out right now.

The troop movement and most of the other stuff, but a real good stratagy with RT battles is Mideval total war.

Mideval: Total War is a very good game. I would highly recommend it if you like large scale battles. I even play StarCraft off and on.

Starcraft is the best, except that everyone on battlenet is about 9 and the kids are total assholes.

:p there are 100s of RTS games out there... it could be a poll on "what is your fav blizzard RTS game, starcraft or WC3", that makes sence, but I think that there are jsut too many RTS games out there for only 2 game options.

I would vote for C&C Generals right now is a new and great one (like it better than WCIII)

I dunno about RTS games...if it's a real world one, it makes me want to play an FPS. If it's a sword and sorcery one it makes me want to play an RPG. I liked WCIII for a while though.

Medieval: Total War is the newest flavor of cybercrack out today. Say goodbye to your friends when you start playing. And you might want to wait a bit - they're releasing an expansion in the near future.

they are coming out with the sequel at the same time, like Rome total war or something. Now that looks like it will be a fun game :D

And Rome: Total war, well have you seen the screens, oh its going to be orgasmic. And now you can build like forts in pass's and stuff that people have to assualt, its gonna be so cool.

Hey for those of us who play mideval what are your fav nations? I prefere the Danes cause...Vikings are cool! The Italians are nice for the fact that they get a very nice selection of units later on.

Oh Russia hands down, I think that they have the BEST unique unit in the game. I mean to be one of the best calv archers and and of the best close range calv in 1 unit is unbeatable. They hve a nice selection of artillery, and a good general selection of units else wise. Plus they have a very nice strategic position in the main game.

AOM is a fun game, was playing that for a bit, but I never was too good at the AO- games, never quite got the many many resources down right I guess. But I do love the Norwegians when you get al l3 giants and super fast build, death right there :D

:lol: Dio, I actually liked RTS better than FPG until PS came along :lol: before that my fav FPG was UT, then UT2003, but when it comes down to it, other than PS, I like RTS better than FPG, with UT/UT2003 being up there on my top 10 list of games.

Get Mideval total war, its a great game you wont regret it. Lots better then any star craft or AO games.

gah, looks arent everything

i can guarentee you i had more fun playing Starcraft than Medieval. Starcraft's just one of those really great classics, those that never get old.
Medieval is a great game, just doesn't seem to have that quality that almost all Blizzard RTS's have

if you haven't guessed already, i love just about every game made by Blizzard :love:
