The NC MAX looks absolutely bad ass, the TR one looks good as well, not a huge fan of the style for Vanu but that's personal preference.

Yeah the Vanu shoulders are a little bothersome, though I love the hands with the elongated fingers. I find the NC rollcage a little hilarious but I still think it looks awesome.

Yeah I thought all three MAXes looked really good. They were very different in their looks and they are trying to differentiate the empires more which they obviously succeeded with in the visual department on the MAXes. :)

I love them all, but I think the NC one would look better with a grey metal (you know how metal can have a bluish tinge?), rather than a beige one. The rust would contrast with it better, too.

I would prefer it if the TR suit had a different helmet/head style. The old goldfish bowl looked a bit silly, but so does the tiny little face poking out. Hopefully I'll be able to put a gas mask on my character so his poor lil' cheeks don't get cold. :p

I think they have done one hell of an amazing job on the MAX units they look great, i love the style of them all, TR MAX unit is my favorite its got a cool steam-punk look, NC looks cool too, as weird as it sounds am not digging the VS MAX unit as much as the others though. lets hope they look like this in 3D with all the cool details and shiz.

The NC max looks hideous, he looks like someone put on a suit full of magnets and then went dumpster diving.

VS MAX looks like your thing if you're into japanese anime, abit too insectoid though. (which isn't a VS motif as far as I am concerned. )

But the Terran republic max looks great. They really ruined the NC max by going crazy on each individual bell and whistle, It doesn't look like a stable exoskeleton, that thing is going to fall apart at any given moment!

A MAX that is going to leave a trail of parts leading to our position is no MAX I want to go into battle with...

I like the NC and TR ones a lot. VS might be drawing a little too heavily on the anime influences, for my tastes, and also has kind of a specter of the BFR debacle to it.

The TR and NC versions are very iconic, though, I think, in their subtle reflection of their empires' modus operandi. The TR MAX definitely looks like it rolled off an assembly line based on an old corporation's design-by-committee with its bold, but sleek lines and tight apparent build quality.

The NC MAX, on the other hand, is very raw and functional. It's the kind of thing I can envision has been modified and improved upon by engineers in the field, and that isn't quite entirely standardized from region to region, since each facility in the loosely organized infrastructure creates a slightly different version or what have you.

I like the distinctive looks (round and smooth/bulky and edgy/alien) as well and hope that the devs will have it influence vehicles or the way captured bases and terrain look a bit more than in PS1 where it basically amounted to different banners and colors.

This goes back to the school of thought that an enemy should be as easily identifiable by its silhouette as its colors (TF2 is a good example of that).. and personal taste, of course.

The new Vanu MAX looks awesome, but I always enjoyed the Vanu Art design. I really like the insectoid style and the prolonged artificial fingers that give the MAX a really alien look.
Also I noticed the circles at the backside of the TR MAX Feet and asked myself if they could be extendable anchors indicating that the MAXs have the same special abilities that they did in PS1. The huge shoulder pads of the VS MAX could also indicated a jump ability. The two circles on the forearm of the TR MAX look like they are joining points for the weapons mounted on both arms.
