Trying to find the font or at least something fairly similar that they used for the Planetside 2 logo

Ask LordReaver. He seems to have some experience with font development, and definitely has an opinion on the PS2 font.

I believe it may have been something that was drawn.

Yeah, LordReaver is the guy to go to for fonts. I'm sure he has a PS font or something similar. If not, I'm sure he could conjure up one.

Yea I figure they might have done that.

Oh well I am pretty sure I can draw what I want. I was just hoping there was a font lol

According to What The Font, this is the closest.
http://new.myfonts.com/fonts/storm/etelka/wide-medium-pro-bold/

A bit too round, but might offer a good starting point.
