View Full Version : Body Dragging
As a medic for my outfit I've always wanted an ability similar to the /drag ability in EQ. When a squad/platoon mate goes down it would be great to be able to grab them and pull them behind cover before getting them up. Granted theres a lot of opportunity for asshating so I was thinking it could just be limited to squad, platoon, or outfit.
I know its been said before but I think smoke grenades are a great tool for medics as well. The spam effect could be minimized by just limiting them to medics. In combonation it would all a medic to pull a buddy out of an enemy crossfire.
people seem to like the idea of long revive times (i dont). if they are long again something like this would be nice. like you say grief could be a problem, ie tossing some one off the roof, into water.

Good idea! We have a great place for these type ideas over in the Idea Vault (http://www.planetside-universe.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=69). I would highly recommend posting this idea there for lively discussion. :D

So I'll assume it will be similar to what is featured in BF3?
If so it would add unique quality to the game, don't think it will be in the initial game though just doesn't seem likely at this point..

Yeah, but BF3 won't have it in multiplayer.

As a fellow medic player, I think this would be an invaluable asset.

If anything was to completely change game-play and involve teamwork it would be this. The only other game that did this was ArmA 2 and it's amazing when this happens in multi-player.

... and what if you could have a whole squad aid in this affair, where you could have more then just one person trying to carry off the wounded and then the rest providing cover and suppressing fire..
Would be the ideal setup for a squad no doubt. :)
I made some adjustments. Head over to the idea vault to check them out

I am going to close this thread so we don't have two different conversations. :)
