Once my Space Marine cosplay/paintball armour is completed, I'm making a TR MAX unit. I thought about going with the classic Dual Cycler, mainly because the concept art for PS2 TR MAX doesn't have any weapons displayed (and honestly, an open-face instead of a fully enclosed face shield is stupid).

Cos-play ftw. Totally agree on the face shield.

And I was actually trying to put this in just a General PS discussion forum, but since there isn't really a place for it and it is somewhat MAX suit looking, I figured it wouldn't hurt too much to put it here. Though, in hindsight it wouldn't have hurt to put it in the Off-Topic section either I guess.

They have military suits in development that the user can operate to carry heavy loads of equipment and such using hydraulics as well. A 130lb male can lift 500lbs with it and carry it around like nothing.

The Japanese have also come out with bipedal robots of human size. Not as "advanced looking" as the thing in this video but they do work and can perform various tasks. Very interesting. They even have one that performs actions based on the thoughts of a user wearing a headband. Truly amazing to wonder where this kind of technology could lead too. Prosthetic limbs are already being attached to people using this technology and they can be so accurately used that the person can work chopsticks with them.

Can I get a link that, I can't get enough of that kind of stuff. I knew that robot was fake(if it was real, it wouldn't be on YouTube singing) but still cool nonetheless.

Okay, let me rephrase: it wouldn't dancing and singing on YouTube unless it's in Japan

This is one of the more advanced robotic arms that I've seen so far.

That one has been in the works for a while now. I'm sure it won't be very long until they actually have the finished product ready for testing.

Hopefully the Marines get the first test run ;)

This is the most fluid robot design I've ever seen.

I read a little about the first video a while ago. It's a guy in a suit, with some parts of that suit being automated.

Those parts being the hands and face.

The rest is just some dude hopping around. They do it as a fun event traveling around in order to "get people used to seeing robots with lifelike motions" or something along those lines.
