If I were to start streaming PlanetSide gameplay, would anyone even watch?

I know Tigersmith does something like this, but who could have a problem with more gameplay?

I'm just not sure if people would rather watch someone else play PlanetSide when they could be playing it themselves.

I would watch on the occasion. My playing is shit right now. I usually have a k/d ratio of 1/2 on a good day, so watching videos of others and observing what they do is helpful; Montages of people just getting kill after kill from various battles, not so much. Plus I haven't seen this Tigersmith guys gameplay that I'm aware of.

I have really stopped streaming alot over the past 6 months. Just Planetside tho.

People tend to cheat and listen to teamspeak for outfit talk and can prepare for where outfits are going.

Also im CR5 so they can see all the command chat. And use that to their advantage if they are on other empires.

Another BIG THING IS. If I am streaming and spawn at ANY AMS. Im hurting my empire. Even if I black out the stream(or put a image or video up while spawning/getting away from the AMS) Any Bright person could tell where I came from. So I have to cover up the radar also.

Its just a pain. I do it Casually now. I never go in squads or teamspeak when I stream.
I go solo. I dont like giving my squad members a disadvantage..at worst it hurts the empire.

BUT There could be a way I can avoid all of this. And I have not tried it yet.

I recently purchased the premium version of xsplit(Great program been using it since alpha. www.xsplit.com) But they have a Server you can stream to which can DELAY the Broadcast by up to 10 min. This IS Key. And I will start doing this. Its Perfect for this game

I don't mind streaming i mostly talk to the viewers about the game. As most people don't know what it is. Yes you could play or watch.
It's your choice.

And I watch loads of streams online it's the way to go

I kind've use it as a self training method? Since it's harder to learn by self findings, it's just trial and error. But if you watch others and their playstyles, you can kinda incoperate some of the things they do that suit you also.

I am in the works of getting a stream machine so ill run at 300 frames all the time. also going to be organizing a studio downstairs where I live. maybe get some video podcasts going for planetside 2. not sure though
