Glitch in the last game, feature in the new one?

Every now and then some one would find a way to get a buggy or a mossie into a base and I remember some of those doors being more than big enough for atvs. My thoughts are why should it not be possible if you can fit the atv through the door, to drive right in? This would seem to balance itself rather well since if you are dumb enough to take an atv in you become deci bate. Should this be a feature? For the devs it would be a matter of leaving something out rather than adding new stuff to the game.

For certain vehicles like ATVs, I don't have a problem with it. But many bases are big enough to fit buggies inside, which would be a bit much. Imagine a switchblade set up inside the back hallway of a base. No enemies would make it in.

I have had a fury get inside the vehicle term room of a techplant, but it wouldn't go up the stairs.

We don't know the new base layouts, and now we have confirmation of them being destructable (at least to a point), it might be cool to have something like this. Right now in a base, you have 1 or 2 ways to get to certain locations. If the new bases have more options, then I could see this as being a great addition. It all depends on the base layouts.

If they fit they should get in. Might give AV MAXs a role other than target practice!

I think I made a thread back in March asking if certain Planetside gitches should become intention design choices.

This was not one of them.

Edit: We need to see the bases, or at least find out more about them before anyone can have the slightest clue as to whether this could be a good idea or not.

In the distant future they will create these things called "Bollards". Which can be placed in front of doorways or other objects to protect them from unwanted vehicle intrusions or collisions. :D

A few people have raised a good point about lacking enough info on bases to decide this. I am thinking that I will have to redo this poll once more info is available. Sounds like a great idea, but if the bases are laid out in the same way as PS1 then we'd see a surge of people in ATV's mowing down everybody, trying to get to the CC! I also like Hamma's suggestion :D
