View Full Version : Does microsoft have email tech support?
I ask because since my old HD died I've reinstalled my windows 7 on a new HD and it wouldn't accept my key. I have all sorts of order information and such so I'm sure I can prove I've got a legit copy, but I've had no luck contacting them via phone.
Thanks.
Were you doing the phone activation for Windows? I have done that a few times and once I was transferred to tech support to get a reactivation. Was a pain in the ass, but I got it activated after about 20 minutes. Would of been done in 10 minutes if I had a American, but I could just barely understand the operator. Hell I got a Aussie a few weeks ago and I barely understood him, so I hung up on him.

Well it won't accept my CD key which I used on my old HD. And my calls kept going:
Punch in a bunch of numbers about my call, elevator music for a bit and then it just cuts out. Tried my land line and my cell phone, same shit. So I figured if they had an email address hidden from me that'd be a lot easier.

I always get Indians who get mad at me for having a problem. I wish I got an Aussie.

Yeah same thing happened to me. The dick operator was getting all mad when she was trying to confirm the numbers/letters I gave her for the key code, since I couldn't understand her. That Aussie I had wasn't much better due the thick accent he had.

They should be able to give you their email address so you could just send it to them.
