Dirt bikes as an alternative to atvs? (not replacing atvs)

I always thought armored dirt bikes would be a cool addition to the game, mostly because their turn radius is much smaller, which could make them more agile than atvs. They would be the same cert cost as atvs, and their tradeoff would be less armor and maybe less firepower if deemed necessary, but they would be slightly faster, considerably more agile, and due to being lighter they would have better shock absorbency. Probably not a priority to most people, but I think it would make a neat addition at some point.

A lot of those motorcycles look cool, but I imagine they would have pretty bad shock absorbance, and I really would want to be able to jump off of hills and stuff (not cliffs obviously). I was thinking a street bike variant with a little more firepower or speed would be really cool as well, its just you would need mostly level terrain, and I don't know how much of that there will be in this game. They could be cool for intercepting or escorting things on roads, but im not even sure ps2 will have roads.

That said, it would be interesting if you had to adjust your ATV for the terrain, or that the game would do that for you. That way you'd get the ski variant on snowy continents, because the wheels wouldn't exactly work that well there ;)

I don't think you quite understood my post, I said that street bikes would not be very useful without roads, obviously dirt bikes do not need streets.

Needs a different paint scheme - but I like the look of that vehicle. ...and the NC one was even MORE Baddass.
