will there be a way to switch your controls for the game?? because i prefer playing with the up, right, down, left controls over playing with the w, d, s, a controls. hopefully i can get a solid answer to this because i really dont wanna get used to using the left side of my keyboard.

I would be shocked if it didn't. It should be a given that the controls are customizable. Even really simple computer games have alterable controls.
