Since when do I delete threads and create my own comment thread? I always link to the person who posted it as well as give credit. Posting on front page now.

awesome vid...
I assume he uses a wacom or something for the original line work? He works with an unbelievable number of layers, lol!

this time lapse is just a small consideration to take into effect for what is involved for JUST concept art after importing a general 3d concept... I love how video games are made.
Me too ;)

2 days on designing the concept art for a spawn tube...yeah they are putting alot of love into this game, and Grandma taught me that love always makes it taste alot better. These are exciting times. For years I've been dreaming and longing for Planetside 2 and it's happening before our eyes. Literally in this case.

I don't usually jump into wild speculation, but I'm thinking that cool sparkly shield might help prevent spawncamping...

Awesome looking concept art. Can't wait to see in-game footage of these tubes. :)
I don't get how people on Facebook can rant about this, looked awesome to me.

Looks awesome, am I right in saying the Teal colour would be for the VS - with Red for TR and Yellow for NC?
Have to say that it gives some appreciation into the time taken for development and it looks like he's very professional and also loves his job.

Damn, that is quite some heavy art work done there, and thats just for the concept.
Would like to see the modeling as well as texturing process as well. :)

This looks amazing.
I would love to have one of these instead of the front door of the house. Imagine the epicness when you step outside like a total boss. (or...nerd)
