You can get $40 off certain motherboards too (see bottom of thread). This is an AWESOME deal, easily the best gaming CPU out there at the moment. These deals are in store only. You have to live near one to take advantage of the deal. You can order online and do in store pick up as well.

It's killing me, newegg was recently giving away two free games with it for $200. And now this. There better be some kickass deals come xmas.

Oh well, my MSI rebate hasn't even arrived yet so I wouldn't be able to buy a mobo it works with for another week or so. I can only hope newegg has good xmas deals (never shopped at newegg around xmas).

Uh, I dunno. Are they? The only thing I bought from newegg around christmas was WoTLK, which somehow managed to arrive at my house two days before the release.

This is the best gaming CPU currently on the market, beating out even $1000 CPUs in games. Only the i7 2600-K is better.

I have this CPU and it is a beast. Love it. I have it overclocked to 4.5 GHz, but have a friend running at 4.9 GHz on air. Should get the deal if you can!

I have one of those also running at 4.2 - awesome CPU! Just picked up new rigs about a month ago.
