I have a question. I can run BF3 on the High settings, without going under 30fps (normally stays around 40fps) at 1920x1200 resolution. I had my Process Monitor running as well as GPU-Z, and my CPU was maxing staying around 90% during gameplay, but my graphics card load was only around 70%. I was curious as to if this is normal for the graphics load to stay that low?

Specs:
nVidia (PNY) 560 Ti:
GPU clock: 823MHz
Memory: 1002 MHz
Shader: 1645 MHz

AMD Phenom II x4 955BE @3.2Ghz
G.Skill ram DDR3 1600 (4gigs)

I thought the 560 Ti would run it a little better, but I'm not really disappointed. Just curious if there is a way to get that extra 30% working my favor. :) Thanks!

If your CPU is maxed I'm guessing that's your bottleneck. Overclock that bitch.

What driver are you using currently? There is a beta driver from Nvidia for better BF3 performance if you have not tried already.

I still do not know the performance of CPUs in BF3 as there has not been any good charts out yet. Though the Phenom II maybe bit of a bottleneck in the game.

I'm using the beta driver. I'll try overclocking it. I had it at 3.7 GHz before but I didn't like how hot the temps were getting even with my Hyper 212+. I'll try it and see if that's the issue. Thanks. I'll get back to yall.

For reference a preview of the BF3 performance with a i7 920 (3.6 GHz overclock) and GTX 560 Ti had it running Ultra with no moition blur at around 40 FPS average having 1920x1200 as the resolution.

Bringing it up to 3.5ghz brought it up to 99%. Also, for the most part it let me run Ultra at the FPS I was getting on High. Just need another case fan. Thanks gents.

Glad to hear it made a difference. Phenom II is still not a bad gaming CPU by any means.
