The Planetside 2 development team recently related that the Vanu Sovereignty are set to acquire a piece of technology known only now as the Dyson. Some fans have taken in the ill-conceived notion that this is some sort of vacuum-plane abomination. This is simply not the case.
The Dyson will be among the non-combat oriented specializations for the Vanu Sovereignty. SOE has not released any official art of the Dyson to date. However, it is rumored that the only "aircraft" element the Dyson will have is the ability to hover, much like the Magrider. Thus, rumors suggest that it will be purely a vacuum, and the specialization that uses it, the Janitor, will gain experience by "tidying" the base after conflict has wreaked havoc.
Indeed, recent concept art releases seem to confirm that this non-combat oriented specialization is in development.

The Terran Republic dirt devil, as it is codenamed, utilizes powerful circular motion and suction to remove debris from a full 360 degrees. Rather than re-invent the wheel, Terran Republic researchers utilized existing MCG technology to power this motion (see cross-section below).

As you can see, this system is elegant and efficient. Worth noting, the attachment fires a beam of nanites to reconstruct any damage done to the base or its structures.
The New Conglomerate also developed a solution to base destruction:

Project hoover, as New Conglomerate researchers are calling it during development, is designed with mobility in mind. The bag has a quick release and the model itself folds neatly for maximum portability. A keen eye might observe a bit of recycled technology on this invention. The attachment uses the mechanics of a jackhammer combined with nanite cartridges to "blast the base back together."
Once again, still no art for the Vanu Sovereignty counterpart, the Dyson (much like all else Vanu Sovereignty, much to the dismay of everyone [who counts]). However, word is that the art department is working on the concept art for the Dyson at the time of writing.
