Planetside: Echoes of Paradise is a 3 part Machinima produced by RADANT in association with SECANT and TANGENT. Released in 2008, EoP is a fan created origin story for the MMO Planetside.

As it is Backstory week, I feel this is quite relevant. EoP is easily the best planetside Machnima ever created, and offers some interesting insight on how the old playerbase felt about the plot of the Game. I'm posting this not only for the pleasure of my fellow fans, but also in hopes that our Developers garner inspiration and insight concerning fleshing out the rest of lore.

Echoes of Paradise is a trilogy and includes a single theatrical trailer. Enjoy!
Hamma time: Not QUITE Planetside 2 but this seemed the appropriate place for the time being. Feel free to move it

Trailer: (maybe I'm biased but the trailer is well worth watching, goosebumps every time.)

"We're TR, it takes 3 of us to do anything!" :DI think they leaned a little heavy on the Drama button (and a little light on the Coherent Story button), but it wasn't too bad for volunteer work.

I liked it, but where is part 3? It won't load and can't find it in search.

Oh a side note, I would like to nominate "They call me The Generator." as a new voice macro.

Super cool. Can't believe I haven't seen it before. So many of those shots were absolutely stunning. Maybe the editing was a little heavy on the fade-to-blacks which kinda messes with the pacing, but it's easily a million times better than anything I could have done. Thanks for sharing.

Wow! that was pretty awesome given what you had to work with. I think I remember seeing the trailer for it many years ago but never saw the actually movie.

Thanks for posting.

do i hear a teardrop?

Yep, you sure do.

Am I the only one that can't watch part 3?

It works for me.

The names of the rest of us that Starred in the movie are at the end of Part 3. Pause it and look through the list, you may see some old names. It was a bunch of fun to make, and it took us a long time to complete all of the filming and for Radant to complete the editing. We have other ideas for more films, just lack the time and the manpower (pops kinda suck nowadays) to do the filming, so there probably wont be any films until beta rolls around.

I'm interested as to who did the voice for the guy narrating in the beginning?

Yeah definitely one of the best of PlanetSide's machinima, however for me #1 Machinima is between this and that Sturmgrenadier 45 minute long one that's really old (I can't really decide).
