10-core AMD processor on leaked doc:

This probably is not the case anymore. Instead of the "10 core" AMD is opting for a "8 core" now that has enhanced BD cores. No idea of what kind of clocks or IPC improvements we will see either. I am just hoping the IPC will at least match Phenom II given that it is lower then that now. AMD's new module system really isn't a CPU with full 8 cores either. Best way to describe the 8150 is a quad core with hyper threading.

But, on the same slide it shows the 8-core Bulldozer and the 10-core Corona.
I got this from TheInquirer.net, btw. It is new news, not old news.
New road maps have come since July.

Ah. If only all eight cores could be used on all applications. Then, there would be speed.
I don't know about that. This is only a refresh of BD not a new arch. Don't expect this to even beat nehalem i7 920 in most at this point.

It is old news i saw that slide back in July and the interesting new bit of news was not the 10c bit but the FM2 socket. (which i think is odd but not out of the question)

The Inquier has been shit since about 06-7 when all the good hacks left.
10 core Komodo was on the official AMD roadmaps back in march. (This slide was first shown with 8c for komodo back in late 2010, it also showed a GPU for the chip; aparently the new boy was making the slides that day. My understanding is Komodo has since been canned and replaced with Vishera which will be 8c and part of the Volan platform with AM3+ socket. Vishera will have piledriver cores and should be made on 32nm SOI.
Vishera is said to be availible Q3 2012

I have also heard that there will be a new stepping (prob C0) of Zambizi/bulldozer out asap.
It is possible that Komodo is still on but has been pushed back (from what i gather server roadmaps are still showing a Piledriver 20c Terramar (10c Sepang MCM)) but i think that is just old too and we have just not heard about new 8c piledriver server chips.
Also:
AMD is already shipping 16 core processors (http://www.guru3d.com/news/several-amd-opteron-6200-bulldozer-cpus-sighted/)
Opteron 6200 is 16 core using Interlagos (2x8c chips in MCM.)

Bulldozer ?
Bull = claims were exaggereated
dozer = AMD is sleeping on the job
(we need AMD to do more - to help keep the market at competitive price levels)
