All i did is preordered it ftom gamestops website just to make it easier on me. Yeah, i haven't seen it around.

A Question, are they really serious about using that pic as the cover art for the game? Does anyone else think it should change? I think they should include all 3 races. Not just the purple ones!!!

Planetside has been kept underground for the most part, I'm actually kind of surprised there wasn't an extensive run of previews and a boatload of screens out by now (by boatload I'm comparing it to games like FFX-2, that have like 30 new screens every week, I think there's only a few hundred PS screens floating around right now, which really isn't a lot for a big budget MMO game). There's also not a whole lot of "in-depth" information out either, it's all pretty generalized. So that's why I don't think people are paying it much heed...mark my words though, it'll be a behemoth after release. I have a good nose for these sorts of things.

I eally doubt that number will increase after the release. These people talk about one thing, cars. It gets so damn annoying hearing people talk about how they're gonna "soup up" their shitty rig. I would love to rent a Lexus for a day and just laugh at people with modified Civics. Oh man, that would be great...

I too feel the pain of the "car guys," Nightmare...and the worst part is, NONE OF THEM EVER HAVE COOL CARS. If two people with fully restored classic cars want to talk about that great, but if you're driving an 82 pickup truck keep yer trap shut. :D

Do they constantly read those badly edited peices of toilet paper car magazines? I hate that. I read them and its like the editor graduated kindergarden the day he was hired. Only plus, and probally the reason they sell is that they are covered in half naked chicks, which i really cant complain about :p

Jump off cliff in Blood Gulch with sniper rifle-two guys dead before he hits the ground. Unreal Tournament/Championship, too. Not to bring up other games or anything. He'd be limited by no headshots, but still...

I told everyone that I know is semi-interested in games. Most of them don't really care, so it will probabaly be me and my friend jsut wrecking havock and creating distractions. :D We work good together. We can basically do anything yu want us too, rofl. And we will do it. trust me. ;)

I would rather buy an Non-hyped Game than an over-Hyped Game.
I still remember all the BS hype about metal Gear solid for the plastation (sorry its the only example I can think of)
"50 New screenshots inside! EXCLUSIVE!!!"
That game was so over hyped when I played it I almost cried, what I pile of Sh!t.

I'll agree that PS has been kept quite, maybe a little too quite, but its gonna be like the EQ launch, no one payed much attention to untill the day of the launch. there was such a jump in the number of people online it brought an ISP down if I recall.
PS should crush a few unprepaired ISPs too, just not in my area....:p

Both Metal Gear Solids were good, they just weren't very game-ish...I liked 'em, kind of like a decent movie and a decent game combined to make a good gamovie (mm...made up word).

Edit: sleeper hits suck because no one believes you that they're going to pwn until they come out, and then when they do come out and pwn no one wants to hear the "I told you so" that will inevitably come from my mouth.
