I like the look of the VS . My main is NC , but i'm liking the look of the VS and i may be tempted to try them out . Early days yet tho . I think higby and his team are doing some awesome work on planetside 2 . What would be nice to know sometime soon is a rough idea on recommended system requirements so everybody has a rough idea what to build/upgrade their systems too in order to run the game smoothly

Hes got the rape race on, do you need an explination?... you will notice one NC came equiped with a rear guard on his pants, but he has assumed the position anyway.

How do i know its the rape face?

Honestly, I plan on coordinating with my outfit to have us all be NC on one server, TR on another, and VS on a third. NC will definitely be my main because of the history I have with them but everything that we have seen so far has blown me away from every empire.

But oh well, as the poster above me said, finally we get to see the cannonfodder :D

Also hope for some "non-VS" interesting stuff like the maxes or Prowler, much like we saw during the other weeks too.

but the most urgent screenies everybody wants to see are the scythe and a shot of all 3 max units standing right next to another, exchanging rape glances!

Yay I finally get to see the other poor group of bastards who's colors shall never see the light of day on the map.

Sadly the turn around video probably wont be that interesting for the Vanu. Just 2 shots of vanu guys lying on the ground dead, maybe a weapon or 2 on an NC trophy shelf, and probably the Mag or Scythe in its natural habitat (see: Scrap Pile).

??? How are TR rednecks and hillbillies, considering they're upholders of the establishment, and the NC hipsters/Occupy protesters, when their trying to rebel against the establishment? And no, occupy protesters are not protesting the establishment, they're protesting against fellow citizens for having too much money.

From what I remember it was the NC and TR always fighting and then the VS would be bored of sitting in their sanc and join the NC bashing.

Still, the only faction worth playing as is the TR since they'll probably be the only faction that takes skill to kill people still.

Us NC engineers pride ourselves in finding use in technology you religious nuts think is too simple to use, and the TR think is too old. Never underestimate the KISS principle.

Anyway, to give ya a history lesson, one that pretty much sucks balls from VS point of view: PS1: TR and NC fight each other, VS stay out of it and just be cool, then VS get attacked by NC and TR, and they started defending them self (means kicking ass everywhere they go)
PS2: Vanu tells us the only way is to join the war and fight NC/TR till we win.
Loved the PS1 story more, but damn, if Vanu says "Go and kick ass while looking awesome" then so be it!

I would trade away any and all of NCs shotguns for just about any other weapon that 1) wouldnt be a shotgun 2) didnt shoot lazer balls :D

So yeah, I liked NC but I would've rather had the TR niche than the NC's shotgun niche. But Gauss Rifle and most other NC stuff (such as Vanguard <3) was amazing.

If I remember my PS1 release info correctly I think it was the NC that first struck at the VS over them being as the NC perceived them as brain washed zombies who just wanted to use technology as another control on the people and the NC wouldn't let that happen.

I like the rifle the VS soldier has, that's really sweet. Totally different vibe from the other factions. With the new FPS improvements I can't wait to get my hands on some phaser/beam weaponry. I hope they have a real good punch.

Really looking forward to this.

VS was my first empire I played as in the beta / early release and holds some of my most fondest memories of Planetside 1 (common pool empire anyone? :)).

I like energy based weapons and really liking the look of VS armour in the PS2 screenshots so far.

Keep up the excellent work T-Ray and the art team - loved the fantastic art style in PS1 and what I'm seeing here in PS2 :D

Vanu since beta and I can't wait to see some fully armored Vanu troops this time around. None of this helmetless Agile armor bullsh!t, I want my Rexo wearing Lasher slinging ground troops. If the MAX concept art is any indication, I'd love the look of the finished Vanu this time around.

The Sovereignty is transhumanist and is supposed to have no qualms with engineering themselves as they see fit. It's a big part of what unsettles the TR and NC. The VS is not quite human, from their perspective.

Of course, the truth is that we are more human than you.
