This is from an NC perspective (I love my blue and yellow). I do not think I can make fun of the VS anymore. They look absolutely fantastic, not a fan of the camo stuff, but the default color scheme looks incredible. This is testing my allegiance. The purple strike fear into my eyes. I think they will be a great with or against.

Look at the mags last shot. Did you notice that the gun isnt nessesarily completly fixed to the vehicle, but seems to have some freedom to move left and right a bit, independend from the actual vehicle? The connection between the gun and the vehicle is some sort of ball thingy, making it pretty obvious that we have some more freedom for the gun. Not a turret, but driving forward while looking right or left isnt a benefit anyway. ;)

The gunner weapon in PS1 was called the heavy rail beam. I think that's intended. I appears that the drivers in PS2 will all get access to heavy weapons and well as the gunner. The gunner slots will be configurable, so it makes sense to move the rail beam to the driver slot.

The two weapons were swapped. The Heavy Rail Beam is now in the nose, and the PPA is on the turret

When I watched the video I squealed like a schoolgirl. I almost fell off my chair when the Scythe appeared, even though I was expecting it. I retract everything I ever said about it. It is the most awesome thing ever made. (However, now I believe that the person who released those 2 screenshots of it earlier should be flogged)

I watched it 5 times so far, and better wrap up this post now so I can watch it some more :love:

At first I wasn't feeling the look of the Magrider, but now that I see that the design of the VS is supposed to look more alien it's really grown on me. They actually look menacing in a way this time around. They're not just guys with purple armor. They're bad asses.


They need to change the game drastically and turn it into a turn based card strategy game or something because it's way too awesome right now, I think it might seriously have a harmful impact on society.

Just got back home from school, and that turnaround video is AMAZING. Clearly the VS have taken on the idea that Tony Stark had it right all along and placed a Micro Helicon Conductive Core within the center chest piece to power our armor! one of the next feature weeks really has to be about the massiveness of planetside! the scale!
youtube needs a video where hordes of soldiers battle it out around a base! clearly stating that there is no PvE and everything that moves is controlled by a real player. even the dumbest halo fanboy will realise that this cannot be halo and is never ever a halo clone, just because some designs may look familiar.

but a MAX unit feature week has to follow up very soon as well, to give our wet pants the rest ;-)
