Sounds as though this just might be the first really good look at the game in action.....

I have a feeling that this is just for SOE, however this is a good sign that more goodies for us will be coming soon. If they are doing a demo for an audience outside the PS2 dev team, then a demo for the bestest, coolest, most loyalest fans ever ever, shouldn't be too far behind.

I propose we have a new thread (or forum section), with a very inconspicuous name, that is fully dedicated to internal leaks from SOE regarding PS2. This way marketing and the higher-ups won't check that section, our 'reliable sources' won't get in trouble, and we get our goodies!

I'm just going to guess that we wont see any 'official' gameplay or other videos until after the new year. Since they are coming up on a milestone, they probably want to spend time developing the game.

Now, I'm am also guessing marketing wants them to wait until after the new year. There is still too much hype and talk about all the games that have come out/coming out this season. They have to distance themselves from the holiday season in order to get any coverage.

I could be wrong on the video dates, but I'm sure thats why marketing wants to keep things under wraps.

Well we have seen the development of it, we have seen like every sort of armour bar the max, most weapons, all the tanks now, higby said the terrain tracking for tanks with tracks is now working, they have done multiple internal playtests, it looks like they have a continent fully done now.

Planetside is mostly art they have said they have a huge art team working on it, once the foundations are laid down its time to start properly testing, all the customisable armour and that can still come.

According to recent Twitter posts, the demo went unbelievably well (though I definitely choose to believe it!). People are saying that the game was stunningly beautiful and handled like a dream. Amazing things are happening with this game! w00000!

Talking about "bribes" like these. I remember back when APB was still in it's first closed beta with Realtime Worlds. This clan called "San Paro Sheriff Department" send this big ass basket of cookies to RTW. The community person from RTW then videod the whole thing when they opened it and everyone came get a cookie and thank the clan for that :D

I'm pretty sure you could look for bakeries in San Diego. Just send some pictures what you want on it and a description of how it should look.

Well, here goes again. Something like this could do. Fairly simple but with custom stuff on the top. Was thinking that a simple top like this could do. Like the "Planetside", the moon thingie and the "2". EDIT2: Also, one could just think about doing something else than a cake. The example I told earlier had cookies, which are usually cheaper, easier to deliver, etc. Found some fancy gift packs from several San Diego bakeries. It wouldnt have PS2 plastered all around it, but I'm sure SoE has plenty of PS2 plastered around their office anyways :D

No information.

It was an internal demo for SOE employees all under an NDA, the point of it is to show off the game to the entire company. There were demos of all sorts of SOE WIP's. We would have known nothing about it, but SOE and the Devs have dropped tons of info on us via Social Media.

All we know is supposedly Higby made someone sick during the Air demonstration.

point of the demo was to show the rest of soe, how real games are made, and how they have to look!

and hopefully to make them realize that the ps2 devs are doing fine, without suit interference, and that the beancounters should not even dare to fuck this game up like they love to normally.
