So i was was wondering if were gonna be able to even see the full skill tree for every class when we first make a character. because id like to be able to decide how far in each tree i wanna go myself not start doing something only to find out its not in that tree.
Another thing is, will there be any Cross Tree skills that if you get this skill and that skill this skill comes sooner.

You can swap classes whenever you reach an equipment terminal, why would you need to see the tree's when you create the character?

I think it would make sense to be able to see the whole skill tree at once; there would be no reason for it to be like, a secret until you get higher. As for cross tree skills, I'm not sure how that might work, but I haven't heard them say anything like that, so I don't think that we have any reason to assume that such a system would be in place.
One thing that i DO assume would be in place would be buying skills redundantly. For instance, getting an explosive demopak (ie, a Boomer) would be an unlockable skill for both Infiltrators and Engineers. However, buying this unlock for one class should presumably NOT give it to you for the other class; in fact, it could be an earlier unlock for the Engineer (who has been identified by the devs as "the demolitionist") and a later unlock for the Infiltrator. This same principle would presumably apply to all cross-items and unlocks. For instance, a Light Assault character might start with the Pulsar unlocked, but a Medic might need to unlock it.

If we can get a VR training facility like in PS1 to test the certs, it will be a nice tool to try the certs before choosing them.

They did mention there will be something like the VR in the game, so I imagine the skill tree won't be a secret. But the outfit-specific skill tree will probably be only visible once you're in the outfit.
Also, I'm sure as soon as anyone reaches the end in any branch of a skill tree, places like PSU's wiki and Ten Ton Hammer will be full of guides and skill tree calculators, but probably even before that, 'cos they keep saying that there will be plenty of data streams off the live servers for websites to use.

I still thinks it's a massive disappointment that we won't be able to mix and match weapons/gadgets/tools like we did TEN FREAKING YEARS AGO.

PS2 wiki (http://www.planetside2wiki.com/classes). I don't know if this needs to be updated or not, but "unrestrictive" and "free-form" can't be too bad can it? Hopefully it's not to much of a disappointment for you. :)
Definitely looking forward to more about aircraft and their skill trees.
