If you guys read the fine print under the download button you will see that you can just type "no" in the email field to avoid your hassle. Yeah its a marketing tool, but thats what its all about in the states. Ease up on the paranoia, there are many other things in the world, currently, that you should be much more worried about. Download the show and enjoy it my friends, not everything needs to be shat upon just because it can be. Its a KICK ASS trailer to say the least and worth the dl.

I plays the R6:RS and SplinterCell ads cuz its still DLing the PS trailer.

Second... you can get adware programs to just delete any eronious materials. Since the Gigex is a new dl the adware will que in on it and it can be easily removed.

Escapees usually get squashed, frozen or suffocate to death trying to hitch a ride on commercial airlcrafts by hiding in the landing gear compartment. That's great that this happens in PS.

you are. if you are seeing anything, you are seeing the barrels for the guns. And it's got rocket launchers and two guns, so it's a Reaver, not a Quito... its a gunship, not a scout craft. more like an F-16 than a lightly armed spyplane.

It's most likely some spyware bs. There is NO reason for them to have you download special crap in order to use their site. It's just a setup. :\ They want to get spyware on your comp that'll pop up ads and whatnot I bet. :p

the +nc red is the grief pts. if I remember right

I think that the legs were prob b4 they had put in model transition effects, so when the model of the person sat in the reaver, it did not go away, thus he was flying around standing up.. Just a guess, but makes sence to me.

Um, i downloaded fine, but it doesn't seem to run very well. Its basically running so slow that i get about 1 frame every 6 seconds or so. Anyone else having the same problem? I'm not running any other applications in the background and all my other QT movies are running fine.

Bah. The power reactor is just a few polygons with an animating texture on 'em. I could do something similar in Half-Life. And I've hardly ever mapped before.

That thing needs particle effects and lasers 'n a nice few shiny point-based lights flying through the 'tube'.

As far as having problems playing the file (the 1 frame every six seconds) try rebooting (I just got that after getting home from work after my computer had been on all day, when I downloaded and watched the file this morning), and if that doesn't work just rewind and hit play a few times, it should clear up eventually.

And Gigex is -not- spyware. They're just trying to cut costs by controlling the bandwidth you use. If too many people are downloading, the start cutting the bandwidth. On top of that, it's a download manager for those n00bs that don't have a download manager. Stop freaking out about non-existent spyware and just download it.
