Wireframe view of an NC soldier model. :)
Points of interest:
- the file's name includes "NCleader" and is a Light Assault model,
- the name also includes "PCGAMER" which T-Ray explained as "PC (non rendered) "R" version No body (body removed just armor)",
- T-Ray said he'll show us more once the model is finished,
- new helmet - the microphone suggests it's a commander unlock of some sort,
- he's carrying a pretty big knife there. ;)

Now that's a new pic. The knife looks like a regular sized knife as from PS1.

T-Ray, should you check this thread: Please, please give the Light Assault class an armor that fully covers the torso! (I'm not a fan of the bra-armor at all). The more armor, the better. If it's kept slim, it would would still be easy to distinguish between light and heavy armor classes.
Or is the sexy armor limited to the online shop?
I'm sorry for bringing up a Battlefield game again for reference, but BF2142 had lovely character models in my opinion

let me ask you this, if you start off with armor that covered up everything then where can you go if everything is upgradable?

So, we start naked and can customize our way up to being a human tank? Yay! :D

Well if the game provides nice armor upgrades for each class, then you can absolutely ignore my previous comment. (I still don't like the armored bra though :p)
PS: I'm really looking forward to the NC Rexo as well ... really curious what you come up with!

My thoughts on the NC light assault:
I think I liked the overall look of the armor better when it was gray instead of blue. That said, I understand the obvious reason why it needs to have the identifiable faction colors. Maybe desaturating the blues and yellows a bit would help.
The "bra" doesn't really bother me that much, but I think adding some Colonial Marines style webbing would give it more of a military look, and help unify the look of the upper and lower torso.
The yellow outlining on the armor plates looks a bit too "fantasy knight" to my eyes, I think the yellow could be applied in more of a simplistic military pattern.
Lastly, I think the visors would look much better in a light shade of bluish green.
All this is just my opinion, and I know everything will be customizable so I'm really not that concerned, especially since I play VS. :D
