'Cause that's no Sunderer in my opinion, unless it's HEAVILY customized.

The Sunderer's wheels are proportionally smaller, and they aren't spaced out so wide.
Its driver section contains a proper hood, not a single 60-degree surface.
Its rear section is vertical, not sloped.
Lastly, we haven't seen one with those three thingamajigs on top, nor with an antenna. ;)

Of course the Sunderer has changed a bit over time (as can be seen on the 3 different pic shown so far), but I'm not convinced. There's also a chance that the Sunderer's pic wasn't cut out too well, but let's assume that that isn't the case.

So either that's somehow a Lightning (it would have to be tracked now, and have a forward-facing, narrow aiming arc gun, rather than a turret), or a Deliverer (or any other PS2 equivalent of BF3's Hummvee/Vodnik).

Fire, that is a sunderer. Im pretty sure we know about all vehicles that we will see for beta. The only actual new one is the scythe, everything else has already be seen in PS1.


But one thing a lot of you guys completly ignore: New game. A PS1 Sundy is clearly not a PS2 sundy, just as with the Gal, Tanks, everything.

Does excite me that they are not going to be the same; Sundy was hardly used once everyone could afford their own assault vehicle (sure some outfits did use them effectively from time to time).

I'm not good with these picture games. I saw the picture in the other thread. I believe we're looking at a dragon. You can see the wings. Also the one on the right is probably a Charmander.

to me it looks like they took the deliverer and sunderer and combined them togather into one unit. looks way smaller than the PS1 sunderer but bigger and beefier than the deliverer. as fast as a deliverer maybe slightly slower but more armored and maybe more armed. the guns in the picture look like what you'd find on a deliverer, hopefully imo you could add stronger weapons such as what you'd find on a PS1 sunderer or something akin to the deli variant.

nah, thats just the galaxies flat bottom. For some reason it has wheels, I wonder if this signifies something about aircraft play in ps2 considering their new physics.

Since the loadstar has not been talked about, what if the loadstar is now a customizable galaxy? The flat part in the picturce on the galaxy could be a vehicle bay attachment?

Since I saw the galaxy I've been thinking that the bulkier ships (Galaxy, Liberator) have to take off with wheels since it looks like their engines are fixed. The things are boats and I doubt VTOL engines would be able to support them anyway. Since the ES fighters are small and agile it is logical to think that they will be using VTOL engines.

IRL they would, since a VTOL takeoff is a waste of fuel, but we've all seen air towers and vehicle terminals in PS2 and know that this won't be the case. ;)

this is the new common pool bfr ! since we hated the es bfrs so much they changed them to a common pool one for us! and when crouched it transforms to a big brick with wheels! the devs haven´t heard crys about having stolen the design of transformers, so they had to do something about it !
