In the Video from the9 we saw a aircraft dropping out of the sky will that affect people below it if it hits them or will it just explode like in planetside 1?

stop asking about beta. When they have a date for beta, they will SLAM it into your face till you gag! If you ask a dev for the beta date, then you pretty much failed at being a gamer, because you should know what you never get a answer to this question.
Now lets get the stuff out of the way that is already known:

Its the cloaker. He can now carry a sniper loadout, that makes him more visible/limits his cloaking abilitys.

1: Galaxies had to point their noise down (or their tail up) in order to give the tail gunner a good view, otherwise the tail would get in the way of their firing.
3: can = carry. He's asking if the heavy assault class will be the only class that can carry two "large" weapons at once.

The current plan is to have air-to-ground Rockets and/or Missiles. Bombs may come after launch.

There wont be destructible environments in PS2 at launch.
Galaxy will drop people in the inertial dampener bubble like in PS1, however when squad spawning you will drop in, in a drop pod, like from the HART in PS1.

Hope my request for the Vanu Force Blade to have a glow ability in PS2 gets read out :( I asked for it for so long in Planetside and it was always ignored. I loved how it glowed, it made Vanu feel special and I loved freaking people out as a cloaker turning it on and off lol.

So weapons will just appear and disappear when drawn? Hrm... that is unfortunate. Perhaps it could be implemented later :(
PS- but I am glad that they are streamlining the game to allow such massive on-screen numbers. The 1000 vs. 1000 vs. 1000 is what will make the game hugely popular, NOT whether or not we see weapons on our backs when we're not using them.

2)i read about and saw the new strafe speed in the trailers and it has been slowed down quite a bit. if not lean,then how will players transition from firing to cover? since strafe has been slowed down.

Reason for this is rather simple: If two of those you do follow talk with each other, the chat appears on your feed. If you dont follow any of those two, none of the tweets appear.

I'm assuming we still "draw" our weapons though? It was an important delay imo, similar to how it took a while to get into a vehicle instead of popping immediately in to it.

yea this just means you just wont see the weapons on somebody's back or hip, only if they're drawn.

It is in a way weird how modern games these days sorta lack half of the features PS had back in 2003. The vehicle entry/exit animations and holstering comes to mind.

Shame. Was already wondering with those first trailers what I was missing as the characters looked a bit empty and their visual weight shifted more forward somehow, didn't quite realise then it was the lack of holstered weapons that made that visual change.
I wonder if - though animations are missing - entry points will be very local still (so you can predict where someone exits), or more like BF and some other games where you just have to touch the vehicle.

but the lost visual features are still very bad.
they made the gameworld appear more real. the holstering was kind of cool, but if matts calculation is right, it´s worth to be dropped.
but the vehicle enter and exit animations are a really really bad loss!
it looked so awesome! and if you are shooting at someone who runs to a vehicle it would totally suck to see him just vanish instead of climbing into the safety of a cockpit while you still try to get him. it was of no concern that the soldier was invincible from the point the animation started, it just kept up the illusion of a real integrated battlefield!
not to mention that without the animations, making epic warfare machinima is ruled out :-( almost every good ps1 movie has scenes of squads or platoons manning their vehicles and starting a big assault in formation. the enter animations looked so badass, that these scenes increased every movies overall quality a lot.

I hope in that too, and in some speed restrictions on that. I submitted question about that but it was scrapped by basti. Maybe next time :)

Well you should expected it in BF3 since its there from beginning. But even soe took a lot of things from bf this has no place in PS. Entering should be position and speed locked.

That is probably not intended. Its just poorly made logic for entering vehicle. If you are close enough you will enter. Since in PS2 there wont be any any entering animation, that means they dont need us to stay at specified spot so animation is correct. Then so players have it easier you get rid of entering spots altogether, so players wont be confused why they cant enter. Scrap/forget about speed limitation and you are done.
All you did was to help players, to enter vehicle easier, with good intentions. But it allows such a crazy stuff, they probably didnt think would happen.
So even if its not needed vehicle entering limitations must be there.

Kind of wish they'd put it in holstering for those of us that have amazing setups. I'd prefer the game to age gracefully where others can upgrade their computers in 2 years and turn on these features. I guess it would give a slight advantage seeing weapons and such, but it would be a nice touch.

If this is the reason we can't see holstered weapons, then so be it. However, it SHOULD be a graphical option for those who have heavy machinery. Knowing what someone else has equipped is rather useful in some instances.

I would imagine each class is going to look sort of unique, from that you can guess what they can do to you.
