It's because they basically are. We've seen a biolab and an amp station. That's about it so far. There is more to see though like around the warpgates and tech plants.

These bases still look amazing from every single angle we've seen.

1) the first one had the bio dome lifted more, it was on a pillar
2) The cliff isn't in the first shot
3) there are more buildings scattered around the ground in the old one.

I think this is a second biolab on Indar.


Also, I think we have seen either a third design or a second continent already. The sniper-in-tree shot shows a different ground scheme, and they have trees. It also has the Bio-lab-on-a-pillar design.

So, this must mean multiple designs of the same type of base. If this is true...Fuck Yeah.


EDIT: Upon further inspection, They might be the same, but something is off. The background has the same rocky outcropping.

Edit: Looking again, yes, that is definitely not flush with ground level. You just can't see the pillar because of the angle.

What if you could enhance facilities as well as bases as an outfit or empire by summoning in base sections and modules from orbit? >.>

Either to up production of resources (especially your outfit share), add specific base benefits such as vehicle facilities or terms, or simply to fortify them.

It might still be the same facility, it could just be a rock inside of the "BioDome" cant really tell for sure from this angle.

I believe they said that bases are built into cliffs and whatnot this time around. That will make for some really interesting fighting. Rather than a plain field with a base in it, you'll be attacking a fortified base built into a cliff. Fun stuff :D

That's definitely the same facility. The sun is in a different part of the sky on the 2nd pic and it's not as washed out, but there are about a dozen or so terrain features in the background that all match up.

It sure is purrrty tho. :cool: I wonder if that central tower has multiple levels inside that you can access. If so it looks like sniper heaven. Might be fun to hotdrop on top of too to get access to the rest of the facility... :D

This is beginning to not be enough. I want more. Doesn't even have to be beta, but I can't survive on the current amount of the game we're seeing. I'm starving.

Cheer up big guy, Ive been there before, especially over the last year... Like a spanish lover you never had, higby just teases that sexy body and yet you want more and more and more. The pics he sends you show all that you cant have...yet. The curvy textures just to leave you guessing: "I wonder what it looks like inside that delectable, seductive Bio lab?"

Ive lusted and lost before.... But its different here. Here you know you will have your hay day with that sexy beast and slaughter that thing all over your monitor until your hearts content. You will have your chance!

Just know when they are ready to give it up, they will and we must be patient. Imagine how pissed we would all be if they release half rate crap that barely worked? So age is indeed purrfection(<-- See what I did there?) in this case and really, be happy we get anything at all..

Edit: Oh and yes, nice bio labs, it either looks adjusted from the one before or some how thats what the other side looks like. imo..

I think it is the thick black border of the base outline made it look cartoonish to you, which, is probably caused by the dynamic range of the phone camera.

I don't think it's that. To me it looks like it's just trail of tank(s) driving that way in a straight line.
