Not sure if anyone has noted this before?

The beginning of that video has what sounds like an audio scramble. Not sure if it was put in by the site, or when it was uploaded, but, assuming it is simply static covering up actual audio, instead of a true audio scrambler, my fanboy ears hear something about May 7th, and the fight goes on.
Maybe this is non-news, but I figured I'd post anyway.
What are some of the audiophile's opinions? Is that an audio scramble? Just an added effect to make the video sound cooler? Higby trolling?
Edit: Used a character translator on the heading http://www.mandarintools.com/cgi-bin/charlook.pl, and the characters translate to this:
"observe again..."?

Now see, i also heard 'May the 7th, the fight goes on'
But whats really fucking my mind, is if i'm just hearing that because you said those words.
Probably not.
I think we're seeing/hearing stuff that isn't there because we're looking too hard. We are literally crawling around on the floor. Licking it. Trying to find information.
EDIT: Yeah ok, listening to it again. It sounds more like someone hailing someone else over a radio 'X to X, the fight goes on'. I heard 'Peggie to Simmens'. But really, which sort of fighter pilot calls themself Peggie.
Peggie and Iceman just doesn't have the same ring to it.

I hear what you're saying, but I guess I'm not convinced, for two reasons.
First, this video has already been released, technically twice - once by the9, and another time by SOE themselves as a youtube release. There was no radio in that video.
Secondly, the chinese characters seem to indicate that people should be watching it again. Why would they be telling us to watch it again (other than the obvious bit that it's an awesome clip), only this time with a single, muffled, and seemingly pointless audio clip...
Something just doesn't make sense...

nice find...
i enhanced the voice and cutted most of th eother sounds,so you can ear it better.have a look at the zip file i attached.
Since english is not my mother language i've a lower capability in recognizing the voice in that mess, but i can agree with "fight goes on", less sure about "May 7th"
(unless was "life goes on" eheh)

I also agree with "the fight goes on", but may 7? Nope, not hearnig that.
But, whatever, it has nothing to do with beta. Y u ask? Clearly the voice scramble thingy and the actual audio was seperated. If they wanted to upload that video without saying a date, then they could have simply removed the voice line...
Sorry :(

Could you explain that a little more clearly Basti? I trust that your opinion has some merit, I'm just having a hard time following your meaning, i'm probably the person farthest from understanding how this sound stuff works.
Do you mean that if SOE/The9 had wanted to ensure that the 'Beta date' stayed up wraps, then they would have simply removed the audio? If so, then I agree, and I believe the video sans audio was the first version released. But I think the point is that the audio was PLACED there on this RE-release telling the site visitors to 'observe again; given that the same video has been posted in two different situations, I still find this very odd. It certainly wouldn't be the first time The9 had announced something before the american side got it (the video it's overlayed on in fact).
I know it probably sounds like im grasping at straws, but I'm actually waiting for a fully logical reason for someone to tell me to stop believing my ears so I can stop being excited over nothing!

Sounds more like February 7th ... The fight goes on.
There are too many Syllables in the part before 7th for it to be may.

Sounds like one of my unpatched TS3 recordings.

I hear "kill your family and eat their corpses". I dunno, could be "May 7th" too though.

Indeed odd.
Well, i dunno. I dont take this voice stuff serious, its just 2 odd to believe. And since i dont speak gibberish, i have no chance to figure out who posted that video on that site over there. So it may just be some yellow face trolling.
