Just kidding

But what would they be like if they actually were a playable faction? What would be their motto? I thought it'd be interesting to speculate.

Personally I think they'd be an exploitative faction. Like morphing the jackhammer and minichaingun into one weapon, and dubbing it the "Mini-jack", they would also smell like thrift stores

Well, there were Black Ops in ps1. that worked out well

Also Smedley threatened a npc faction last summer, or something similar. It didn't sound enticing.

Why would you "morph" a jackhammer or a mini-chaingun into a weapon when they both already are very good weapons in their own right?

Can you please use google-translate to filter out the stupid?

it was a joke, I thought I injected enough satire to make it distinguishable

Mount a vanguard on top of a magrider. But oppose the treads/maglift. That way they could flip over and go over water!

Mah bad.

Insert the obligatory buttered-toast-on-back-of-falling-cat joke here.

We should get resources every time another empire draws a common pool vehicle.

I'm sure someone here will know what I'm talking about. A few years ago on the PS forums someone posted a photo shop picture of a guy with armor from all three factions. It looked pretty cool.

Since we can only play 1 Empire per server, I always thought it'd be interesting if we had the option to temporarily "go merc" for a play session and have our character hop Empires to help out a lower popped Empire.

Maybe if you did this you'd be considered an NS employee. And when doing this I figure you'd get an XP bonus for helping out the lower popped Empire, but you'd be restricted to only using their Basic ES equipment (no upgrades). Customized common pool "NS" equipment would be fine though if you had the certs.

Perhaps as an AI faction that delivers stuff for when we get to build bases?

Wouldn't that be within the ideals of the NC? In which case, you should just be playin NC.

Maybe they could make it the evil NPC faction in PS2 like Intelligent Defense Systems in Advance Wars. :3

Just because a large number of NC happen to have a mercenary background doesn't mean that all mercs living on Auraxis fight for the NC.

That's like saying that since a large number of VS happen to be scientists and other intelligent people, then all of the intelligent peop-- ...

...Oh wait, I see what you mean. You're right. If you're a merc you'd already be NC. I stand corrected. :D
