According to a FAQ, it seems PS2 may be region locked, though the wording is weird, and Higby is currently checking on it. Check out the thread that's going nuts right now.

Where do you guys see a Lancer ???

All I see is some type of rifle on the lower left, a pulsar on top left and a beamer on top right.

I don't think that's a Lancer... it doesn't look much like the old one, at least.

Thinking top right is either the Lasher or the heavy version of the Pulsar, though the fact that it appears to be a bullpup config makes me think it's a different class of rifle.

Where do you guys see a Lancer ???

All I see is some type of rifle on the lower left, a pulsar on top left and a beamer on top right.

Top left, I think that it is the lancer because it looks like it will rest on top of the shoulder rather than against it.

mmm... That could explain the lower left handle on that gun.

If it's the new Lancer, that's a really different design.

We're the VS. Ever heard of double-standards and being persecuted ? That's right, we're that faction. God (i.e. TRay) made us look good and all the other Devs and SOE employees hate us for it.

Theory of interest: What if the made the Lancer into a duel role to serve as the AV and the ES Sniper? There are only four weapons being displayed...

Also, we've already seen what the Pulsar looks like. T-Ray had a pic of it up on his Twitter ages ago.

The one at the bottom left IS the Pulsar.

I doubt it, if your theory holds true it means NC doesent have the JackHammer anymore.

Yea I don't see how people think thats the pulsar, and as someone else mentioned you can see teh shoulder rest on the top left so it is most likely the AV weapon.

Yeah the PS2 Pulsar looks almost exactly the same as the PS1 Pulsar. I'm betting bottom left is lasher(even though it doesent have disco balls anymore *sob*).

That would mean giving AV to infiltrators (snipers), and not Heavy assault (they will have it). So that wont happen.

Bottom Left is not the pulsar. Already seen pics of the pulsar plus we got this tweet a couple weeks ago. I'm betting it's the Lasher with the "orb" attachment. It's almost exactly like a grenade launcher except that its FABULOUS

That is pretty much dead exact for the silhouette except a different viewing angle.

That being said Im pretty much certain now that the Top Left is the AV Lancer. Looks like we got ourselves a pretty sexy facelift boys!

Forgot about this, looks like it is the bottom left. Guess we don't get to see a "Lasher" yet, and maybe the Pulsar got a redesign like the Cycler, cause that doesn't look like the other Pulsars we saw before.

Nah man thats the opposite of what I said. I'm pretty sure it IS the Lasher as we've already seen the pulsar.

I am taking an educated guess and saying that it is the VS HA w/ the orb launcher attachment. May or may not still be called the Lasher because we don't know anything about it yet like if it even has a lash.

That is the Pulsar with grenade launcher attachment, we have seen a Gauss with one too. The HA weapon is not made from the MA rifle like the LMG, SMG, Sniper is. They will have a different model gun for HA, be it Lasher or other.

just noticed that the Pulsar doesn't have a side rail like the other 2 empires MA rifles. Assuming this is the laser/tac light attachment point, I'm now wondering if the VS weapons will have these features integrated into the main laser/energy emitter of the gun. Imo, that might be a pretty slick way to handle it.

They didnt kill the game, take that stupid crap to the appropriate thread. It will basically affect a very small minority. Yes, I dont think its good either, but grow a pair of balls. But more on topic, finally VS weapons, cant wait to see them even if Im NC at heart :D

lasher/ customized pulsar?
Im thinking that it is the lasher due to its more conical shape then what we have seen of pulsars in tweets and the old video. The conical shape could add to the idea of the gun projecting a "ball" of energy so the shape of the gun lends itself to that. Also the trigger guard is funky shaped.

Otherwise it would be a heavily sidegraded pulsar gun, which would be equally awesome.

Well, a bit late, but I'm glad they pretty much confirmed what I thought about the Lasher. Looks like all HA weapons are now going to be held like the MCG, which is good IMHO. Didn't like how the Lasher was HA, yet was held just like any other rifle.
