Lets be honest, the game play footage is beyond awesome.. but the dust/fog in the game would really piss me off! (unless that was a storm of some kind)

agree?

The initial flying around in the gameplay did seem to have quite a bit of fog but I'm assuming that'll change depending on the continent etc

Nope. That kind of stuff is what makes me want to play even more.

Keeping in mind theyre trying to show off their brand new sexy Forgelight engine. They might tone it down for release, or you will probably be able to change it in the options yourself.

I like it in the desert environments, dust and harsh light streams are a must. But theres one part where he seems to get blinded by the shadow of the tree? Im not sure how or why, but thats something worse to worry about if you ask me.

"It's weird. Why can't they please everyone?" kind of thread, again?

1) Indar is basically a desert, barren continent.

2) Dust was not appearing 100% of the time when I saw.

3) Large vehicles like tanks seem to make more dusty wind, wheareas soldiers make very small amount of dusty wind. I nearly didn't recognize it.

Higby mentioned most of the postprocess effects were entirely temporary, if you were paying attention. With that in mind they'll likely keep dust close to the ground later.

I vote for MOAR DUST! I really do like dirty battlefields.

I think they could've toned down the dust just a tiny bit. It was really difficult to see some of the stuff they were trying to show off or pay attention to all the details with all this dust on the screen.

Those dust/fog things are mostly because of (rather) short drawing distance (as opposed to general FPS games), this is a price that you HAVE TO pay for a game with THIS large scale.

Are you an SOE employee?

And what's with the bolded part?
